Fox POV
I found it hard to believe that Noam had agreed to do this drama. One he is just reaching one of the many peeks, I believe his is destined for. But another reason is that its a gay drama.
I am really pleased he is though, already there is a lot of interest in this drama. We haven't even started filming and a number of different international TV companies have picked it up. The latest figures I got was 18 networks have asked for viewing rights in their countries and will sub it in their languages.
Today is the first day of shooting, we are filming in a small college in a place somewhere outside Liverpool. They choose Liverpool as many fans have been thinking it would be in London and have started to stake out different sights. This college is a private one and we are filming while most of the students are away.
We travelled up yesterday Fox came with me, to give Sam a break. We are staying in a rental home that has great security. Noam and I will share the cost and it is close to most of the sites we will film at.
"Noam have you seen my phone?" I ask
"It needed charging, so its plugged in beside your bed" he replies
I run and get it and then come back down and see what the hell Noam is doing.
"What's all this?" I ask, he has cookies bagged with heart stickers on them.
"I do this at the beginning of every shoot, it helps let the staff know that you appreciate them" he answers
"You baked these?" I ask "no wonder my stomach has been growling at me" I add before he can reply.
"Here I made you a protein shake" he says giving me a pink filled cup with a straw in it.
I take a sip expecting to hate it "um, this is good" I say shocked Noam laughs and shakes his head.
"Right ready, lets go" he says carrying the box filled with cookies and his own shake in his hands.
We climb into the van "morning Pete" I greet my friend
"Morning, do you have one of your shakes for me too?" he asks eyeing mine and Noam's cup.
"Of course its just not as big, sorry" he says pulling one from the box.
"Thanks this will help wake me up a bit more" Pete groans.
"I'm sharing a hotel room with a lighting engineer that snores like a broken train"
"I'll have your room changed, so you don't have to share" I tell him.
"Thanks man" he says as we drive to the college.
Most of the setting up looks done when we arrive.
We are greeted by the staff and Noam puts down the box of cookies "I made these in thanks and hope we all work well together. The people with wheat or nut allergies can have the cookies made with coconut flour with no nuts marked with blue stickers and those without allergies can have the red sticker ones. There are a few vegan cookies with a cream sticker near the bottom" he instructs.
The crew seem very happy he personally made them, and thank him before we head into wardrobe.
We are filming the last scene for today and its when I come across Jake, Noam's character after he has just been beaten up. Noam is getting his make-up done, to look like he took a bashing.
He walks out and he really does look like his face was beaten. He smiles at me and then puts his game face on as he gets ready to film the scene.
