It mentions the timeskip and what they do after it, so a spoiler warning? I'm not sure but I'm putting it in for incase.
I really felt like writing OsaSuna so here we go.
Sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes!
Enjoy!○-○
It's been two weeks. Two entire weeks of not seeing each other. Of non-lined up, failed conversations through texts. Of missed calls. Of sleeping alone. Of aching for each other.
Suna was away on a trip for a practice match out of town. An important match was coming up, meaning he needed to focus more on practice so they could win and advance in the tournament. More practice, equaled a stressed and even more tired Suna.
Osamu was focusing on Onigiri Miya. After having a bad few days in business, he directed his attention towards his shop. The first few days were a mess, stress piling up, almost suffocating the silver haired male as he tried to get his work back on track.
Both were focusing on their careers, working hard for the upcoming events, and to get everything back on track. Though the person they needed to calm down at the end of the day, was not even close to them. They were yearning for each other's touch. For their company. For their embrace. For them.
That's what made those two weeks feel like an entirety.
Not the long hours of practicing, or dealing with annoying opponents and team members, or the slightly uncomfortable tatami mats. Not the splitting headaches of trying to work out plans for hours, or the same old chair making it harder to focus on the load of work on the desk, or the cold bed with an empty space.
Being away from the one they loved the most was what made it feel like forever. They’re both hopelessly in love with the other, though they wouldn't admit just how far that love stretches. Not out loud, at least.
Though, those two weeks were coming to an end.
With EJP Raijin winning the first two matches in the tournament, and Onigiri Miya getting back on track, they could finally focus on the other again.
Especially with Suna on his way back to their shared home, where Osamu was busing making food.
Suna rushed into the house, his shoes being dropped at the door along with his bags as he ran further into the house, following the smell of food to his boyfriend.
As if feeling the darker haired male's presence, Osamu came out of the kitchen in time for Suna to run into his chest, both slightly stumbling from the sudden impact. Once they recovered though, they were in each other's embrace.
Osamu pulled away, kissing the slightly taller male passionately, pulling away after a few seconds.
"About fucking time you came back, Rin." Osamu said, Suna laughing slightly before kissing him again.
They pulled back for air, their foreheads resting on each other's as they caught their breath.
"Whatcha making?" Suna asked, pulling away from Osamu to see for himself, only to be pulled back tighter.
"Just testing out a new recipe. Why, you hungry?" Osamu asked, keeping the middle blocker in his arms.
Suna nodded.
"Slightly. Though I can wait, gotta test to see if that recipe is good enough myself." The taller said, a small smug look on his face.
Osamu rolled his eyes, before a smirk took over. This time, Suna rolled his eyes.
"No. I have to go shower and unpack, and you need to focus on the food." Suna said, struggling in his hold again.
"Let me join you." Osamu murmured in Suna's ear, earning a small groan of annoyance.
