"Okay class you'll need to pick a group for this assignment" the professor announced making Aubrey roll her eyes.
"Groups of 3, make sure you email me your groups, class dismissed" Aubrey looked around as everyone got up to find their group, unusually she was approached by two familiar faces.
"Aubrey you wanna be our third group member" Brandon asked standing next to Bryson.
"Sure, I'll email her the names" She said while packing her things up.
"When we gone start it?" Bryson asked.
"We can start tomorrow at my place I guess" Aubrey said. She knew they both knew where she lived and she didn't feel comfortable going to their places.
Josiah stood at the bottom of the steps waiting for Aubrey to come out of class.
"What took you so long?" He asked, Aubrey usually came out as soon as class ended, she was 3 minutes late today.
"I had to find a group for this project"
"Who got stuck with you?"
"Very funny but I was actually picked this time by one of YOUR friends and the guy that was in my room at the party." She said
"Which one of my friends?"
"Bryson"
"Yeah he definitely chose you because you'll get the work done with or without his help" Josiah said, he knew Bryson was the type to put nothing but his name on group assignments.
"Or maybe he just wanted to be in a group with me" she said
"Maybe, you hungry?"
"Yes, let's go to your mom's house"
"Why my moms house?"
"I have to talk to Joi, and your mom cooks all the time right?" Aubrey asked
"I guess we can go over there" he said
Once they got over their Melissa and Kion were overjoyed Aubrey was there. She was loved at their his family.
"Can I have my girlfriend back for a second?" Josiah asked going in Joi's room. Aubrey had spent all her time with his family and he was becoming jealous although he'd never admit that.
"Yes?" Aubrey said stepping out of the room.
"Are you ready to go?"
"Josiah we've only been here for 45 minutes"
"Well I'll come pick you up when you're ready to go"
"Why are you leaving?" She asked
"I'm bored" he said giving her a blank face.
"Well you could watch me show Joi how to knit" she said smiling and batting her eyelashes.
"Are you 87? You knit?"
"I'll take that as a no, let me go get my stuff" Aubrey said going back in the room, she didn't want to be in his parents house without him for some reason.
"When did you learn how to knit?" He asked once they got in the car
"I've known since I was a kid" she said shrugging, Josiah felt weird not knowing this important piece of her life.
"How come you've never knitted me anything?"
"Well I haven't done it in a while, it's sort of like a seasonal hobby, you know how you become obsessed with something for like a week and you don't do it for a while and then the cycle continues" she explained
