Introduction :)

Welcome to Sour Candy: L x Reader! This is my second book so I hope you enjoy! I love L so much, he's so baby! I can't not write a fanfic about him. Here's a little about you and the story. Enjoy!

Takes place in the same time the anime does so 2006. It follows the anime not the manga. This will not end like the anime though, the ending is different and my creation. You join the task force around late October. This is before L meets light and right before the FBI situation.

You are around 20, almost 21. I'm sorry but your birthday is 01/01/1986. It's important for the story. You are a female in this story but I can certainly write it to be LGBTQ+ friendly if you wish.

Personality: You are sweet but a little snarky and sassy. You love to tease L but only him. You also, are a major sweets lover. (I really am tho😂) You love to sing and dance and are really good at both. You're also not afraid to voice your opinion no matter what. In short, you're very blunt. You're very good at reading people but also sensing things. I don't know how to put it but you can sense the Shinigami following Light. You also are so good at acting when you need too. You love to have fun and cheer people up that you care about. But the problem is, you have a hard time trusting people and letting them get close to you, in fear of losing them.

Detective Status: Your detective alias is Joker and/or Wild Card. You are the world's greatest detective above L and his aliases. No one's ever seen or met you before but you solve cases in record time. Plus you like to go on scene and take out bad guys but you wear a mask. You are the smartest person on the earth and kinda crazy too. You've taken down multiple people and groups at once singlehandedly. You are also known for leaving Joker card like ninja stars that are metal and can cut through almost anything. It's your thing.

Hobbies: You're a gymnasts🤸‍♀️ and very athletic. Think of Black Widow mixed with Ty Lee, you're basically them but like 100 times better. You often stretch or balance on a balancing beam. You dance like I said and sing. You like hacking into places for fun. You also like to make bombs out of random stuff you find. You can basically do anything you're just awesome. You also know how to use every weapon and how to make your own if needed.

Physical traits: You are slim thick and beautiful to look at. People who see you automatically fall in love with you. Also you're short sorry :( like 5'2 because you don't seem intimidating but you're actually a very dangerous weapon basically.

Random: Your voice is very smooth and silky and very seductive. Though you try not to be. You can seduce the pants off of anyone😏. You love to play chess by yourself and you are an insomniac, though you sleep like once a week? But only sometimes. You have many different aliases but with L you use Kiki. Why? Because it's cute! You love thunder storms and lying down outside during them. You love the stars and star gazing. You're fluent in many different languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Romanian, Latin, Greek, Russian, and Irish. You are also a virgin and have not had your first kiss yet. You really dislike men, and haven't really found anyone you like yet. You also bite your thumb like L but you work differently then him. You also paint and draw really well too.

Background: You were born in America and grew up with rich parents who loved you very much. On your 5th birthday, leaving a New Years Eve party, your parents were mugged and killed right before your eyes. (Batman who?) You butler and parents life long friend raised you. At the age of 12 you graduated college (because you so smart) and started doing detective work. Your now guardian, G/n, supported you. You wanted to find who killed your parents and get revenge. You took part of a secret government training program, that taught you how to take out a target in several different ways. After a few years it was shut down due to its harsh training and you were the only one who survived because most either died during training or killed themselves. A little after you turned 18, G/n died leaving you alone. Since you're 18 now all your parents inheritance goes to you plus G/n. So you're like uber rich with that and the money you make from being a private detective for hire. You are now living in America, (you can choose what state and city) wrapping up a murder case. You only heard a little bit about Kira through contacts but not much. You're a tough cookie I'll tell you what.
