Title: Prejudiced PyaarCover:
I really love the Vector cover you used, the fonts and everything fit pretty well. The guy in the pic, which should be Vihaan, just gives off having this vibe of Vihaan's whole personality. It's really beautiful and whoever designed it did a good job.Blurb:
The blurb was really short and straight to the point, you could add more to make it a bit informative, but without also revealing too much to your readers.Grammar/Punctuation:
I like that your work was well edited before being published, your punctuation and grammar was done well, you made great use of every marks and even the little ones most people forget should be appropriate in a certain lines, were used. Though you should remember that commas are only used to end or begin dialogue when a tag follows. The mistake I kept noticing was things like
She laughed, "I have heard you." A period should be used there instead, only in situations like. She shook her head and said, "I'll try my best." Should a comma be used because 'said' stands there as a tag.
Description:
This was done well, it was nice how you told your readers little things about your characters, for them to paint a better picture without making it to obvious and letting them discover it for themselves. I like how you also gave a good description of the settings, especially when Ray visited Ridha. The characters description were unique and not cliche like the all too familiar 'blue eyes and blonde hair' there is obviously nothing wrong with blue eyes and blonde hair, but it's nice to see a change.Characters:
Ryka/Ray - I like the whole independent, smart, young woman vibe you gave her, her whole personality was nice and I like how she didn't cower away and stood up to Vihaan, she's obviously the smart friend in her relationship with Ridha, no offence to Ridha but I don't care what anyone says, five months?!Vihaan - This has to be my favorite character, though he was pretty annoying at first, but I wouldn't blame him, he was just offended with Ray's rash judgement, I admit that's one thing I don't approve of in Ray. I love his wit and that charm he brings with him.
Ridha - OK, at first, I thought her stupid, I mean, who didn't? I get she's in love, but can she say she knows everything about Aryan and is truly sure he is the right guy for her to marry just in under the five months they have been dating. It's also funny how her own best friend and families haven't even met the guy who proposed to her, if she was my friend, that wedding wouldn't hold because my best friend is currently acting under the influence of a spell, stupidity. But she's really cool and seems like a great friend, she obviously has the best at heart for Ray.
Aryan - I don't have much to say about him, but he's pretty cool.
Overall:
This is a very beautiful book and the few chapters I read really have me laughing. I haven't really read many books where the setting takes place in India, that's the location right? Yes, I believe that was what you said. I enjoyed every part, amazing work by the author ❤•••
I'm sorry this is coming late, I haven't been around.
