LANDER ESGUERRA'S POV.
"Lander? Bakit hindi ka lumangoy kasama ng mga kaibigan mo? Kaysa mag-isa ka diyan na parang tanga."
Dad call me from behind. Naupo siya sa tabi ko habang pinapatuyo ang buhok gamit ang puting tuwalya.
"Nu-uh. Sayang sa sunscreen."
Bago pa siya makapagsabi ng speech, naglakad na ako papasok sa resort.
I was in the middle of this fucking beach when I heard noisy steps. Before I move my feet, someone bumped into me! Wala pa man ilang minuto ay ramdam ko na ang bigat niya. My forehead furrowed as I look at her. She has a doe eyes, long lashes and currently staring at me with parted lips.
She was on top of me. What's with this girl? She's just staring at me with a widened eyes. Wala ba siyang planong tumayo?!
"What now?"
I said in a cold tone. Thank God, nakaramdam din.
"Hala! Sorry."
She was about to stand up but--she made the situation worse! She kicked my...my! Bumaluktot ako sa sakit at tinago ang mukha dahil sa kahihiyan. I still can see Ace laughing so hard while hitting Ford.
"Hala! Sorry talaga. Dalhin kita sa clinic."
She said. She kneeled in front of me with worried eyes.
"Elainne..."
A voice from behind me called her name.
'Elainne...'
"Oh, puta! Landeng, anong ganap mo?"
Taka pero natatawang bungad ni Austin. My cousin, distant cousin. I just saw him at the reunion.
"Stupid."
I uttered before leaving that place.

I've never knew that this situation will give me a new start. A simple and unexpected meet-up will give me so much happiness that I can carry with me for the rest of my life.
ELAINNE'S POV.
Hindi ko na mapigilang tignan ang lalaking iyon, ngunit ang mas nagpapaantig ng mata ko ay ang tanawing ito.
Ilang oras na lang ay aalis na kami dito. Ang ganda ng palawan.
Tumungo kami sa kwarto namin para mag-ayos at maghanda sa pag-alis.
Nang pababa na kami sa lobby ay natagpuan ko ulit ang lalaking iyon.
Nakakapanibago lang dahil mukha siyang galit at may kaaway na lalaki.
Nagkibit balikat lang ako at nakisama na sa mga kaibigan kong paalis na ng resort.
'Maaalala ko ang lugar na ito panghabang-buhay.'
