𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 ∙ 𝗝𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀

𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿

It was during one of Leia's workouts when she received a message from Archie, telling her to meet the group downstairs, in the garage because they'd found something. She'd told them she wanted to be more involved, being sick of being left out and being the last one to know everything. So, Archie decided to include her.

When she entered the room, she noticed Jughead, Betty, Veronica, Kevin and Archie all stood around a jacket. She closed the door behind her, looking at them weirdly as Betty picked up the jacket, checking it pockets for anything. Leia moved to stand beside Jughead as Betty told her cousin to wear the jacket.

"Did you interrupt my workout to watch Archie do a fashion show?" Leia asked in disbelief as Betty continued checking the pockets.

"There's a hole in the pocket." Betty commented happily, turning to face the group with the revelation.

"Now we're grasping at straws." Kevin shook his head at her comment, wondering what she meant.

"No. I don't know about you guys, but whenever I have a hole in my pocket, I always lose my chapstick in the lining." Betty explained and Leia nodded along, pursing her lips as she recalled various times that had happened to her.

"I hate when that happens." The redhead agreed with Betty's statement.

"Especially when I lose my Montblanc." Veronica shared a look with Leia as the two girls bonded over lost items.

"Hold on." Betty called out, finding something on her search. She pulled out a USB stick which made the groups eyes widen in disbelief, maybe they did find something that could help FP.

"Nancy Drew strikes again." Kevin scoffed as Leia announced that she'd go get her laptop from the living room.

Once she returned, she signed in to unlock it and placed the USB stick into the port at the side. Everyone had moved to sit around her, eagerly waiting to find out what piece of evidence they'd just discovered. If it was useless they'd be so disappointed because they had nothing else to help FP out.

She pressed play on the video and sat back, watching as it started to play security camera footage. It started off with Jason, tied to a chair in the basement of a bar on the Southside. The girl felt sick as she watched, hating how her old friend was forced into such cruel torture.

Suddenly, the door opened and Clifford Blossom entered the room, staring at his son with nothing but pure hatred. "No." Leia mumbled to herself, her hand going to her mouth as if on instinct.

He walked towards his son, pulling out the ring from his pocket and placing it into his own. He grabbed something else from his pocket, a gun. Clifford Blossom held it beside him before raising it towards his son and pulling the trigger. A scream left Leia's throat as she watched the murder of one of her friends. Archie immediately pulled the girl into his side as she cried, hearing the sound of someone close the laptop lid.

Quickly, Leia pulled herself out of her cousins hold and she searched her pockets for her phone, ignoring the others asking her what she was doing as she searched for their phone number. When she found it she waited for them to answer and she skipped greetings. "Listen to me, you need to get out of that house right now." Leia told Cheryl as the girl agreed, sounding as if she'd already been aware of this discovery.

When the call ended she turned to face Archie, allowing the boy to once again wrap his arms around her, allowing her to cry into his shoulder again. Nobody there had been as close with Jason as she had, none of them had made any memorable memories with the boy, but she had.

And Leia had just seen his father murder him. She felt sick, the amount of times she'd had dinner there and he'd smiled at her, telling her how thankful he was that Cheryl had a friend to support her through this hardship. All that time, he'd known what had really happened to Jason, he'd been the reason he was gone.

    Worry set in, Cheryl was alone at that house, with nobody other than her emotionless mother who wouldn't bat an eye at this revelation. It wouldn't surprise Leia if she already knew what had happened to her son.
