as michael and luke walked out of michael's room, luke noticed his reflection in the mirror that was on the wall outside of the bedroom. as he stared at himself, his eyes were drawn to the hickeys on his neck. one, two, three, four, five, six, seven. he counted.

"michael.." luke said, turning to the boy walking down the stairs.

"yes?" michael answered, stopping at the fourth stair.

"we have a problem." luke said, looking back at his reflection.

"what is it? are you sick or something?" michael asked, walking back up the stairs to the blonde boy.

"um, it might be the extremely visible hickeys you left on me? if your mum sees, we're both dead!" luke said, beginning to slightly panic.

michael laughed, bringing luke into a hug. "calm down, lukey. come here. i have something to fix it." he said as he led luke back into his room, over to a drawer. as he pulled it open, luke looked inside.

a box of blue hair dye, a box of purple hair dye, extra plastic gloves, condoms, lube, olay facial wipes, and a small tube of clinique concealer.

"look at me." michael said, grabbing the concealer and screwing the cap off of it.

luke looked at michael as he was told. "why do you even have that?" he asked as michael squeezed some onto his fingers and began applying it to luke's neck, covering the hickeys.

"girls. when i bring them over here after school, a lot of times my mum isn't home yet. so i have this for them to cover the hickeys so my mum won't see when she comes in my room and i pretend we were studying. i do a good job, she still thinks i'm a virgin." michael explained, blending the concealer on luke's neck.

"have you ever slept with a guy? or kissed one besides me?" luke asked as michael wiped his fingers on a wipe and put the cap back on the makeup.

"i've never slept with one, but i've kissed two." michael answered.

"who were they?" luke asked.

"tristan davis and calum hood." michael said.

"calum hood? he's your best friend! and there is no way he likes guys." luke said.

"you're right." michael laughed. "we were drunk. i thought he was going to throw up. it was quite funny, actually. we laugh about it all the time." michael told him.

calum and luke never really got along, calum wasn't as mean to luke as the other guys were, but he wasn't very nice either. he was one of the soccer players, so luke figured that was why.

"oh." luke said. "and the other guy?"

"a dare." michael admitted.

"and then you kissed me." luke reminded him.

"the best kiss i've ever had. well, kisses." michael smiled, leaning in and kissing luke on the lips. as luke kissed back, michael could feel him smiling, which made him absolutely elated.

michael broke the kiss and placed his forehead on luke's, planting two kisses on luke's small, slightly pointy nose, which he scrunched up as he giggled.

michael swore his heart skipped a beat. luke was just so damn cute.

he caught himself grinning like an idiot as he places a hand on luke's back.

"let's go eat." he said.

michael and luke walked downstairs to be greeted by michael's mum. luke looked over and saw a middle-aged man sitting at the kitchen table reading a newspaper and drinking a cup of coffee. he assumed it was michael's father.
