Chapter Twenty Four

"Well.... the thing is... in the future the world gonna end..." Lala awkwardly started.
"Huh!" Everyone else yelled in shock. The rest of the people in the cafe looked at them in confusion.
"Maybe this is more of a private conversation," Mirei sighed.
"We can go to my place," Shion offered. Everyone nodded and paid for their drinks and left for Shion's.

"I'll start again, today is actually the day Nijino Yume goes missing after we tell her the truth about what happened between Yuki Subaru and her parents," Lala started from the beginning again when they were all seated and comfy,
"Yume goes missing?" Koharu gasped. Lala nodded.
"What's the truth then?" Laura demanded.
"Well the truth is, Yume's parents were actually going to sell her to the Yumekawa's and when Subaru found out they tried to sell him as well and in self defence Subaru got into a fight, their deaths were accidental though," Lala clenched her fists in anger.
"They what!" Laura stood up, clearly furious.
"Oh my god," Koharu covered her mouth with her hands.
"Her parents did what..." Mahiru suddenly chopped the table in half.
"Is it that surprising, many parents do that it children with abilities?" Mirei asked.
"The thing is though Yume loved her parents, and she'd always tell us how amazing they were," Ako explained why it was so shocking.
"I see, that must be hard to accept," Shion nodded.
"This is all so messed up," Dorothy clenched her teeth.
"Relax," Leona tried to calm everyone down.
"Lala what happens after that?" Sophie said causing everyone to go silent.

"Well... about two weeks later... on the news her death was reported in a car accident,"

"THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! NO CAR COULD HURT YUME!l Laura screamed, cutting Lala off.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!" Ako also yelled just as loudly.
"THERE'S NO WAY!" Mahiru shouted.
"No way," Koharu mumbled.
The others were completely silent.

"That's the thing none of us believed it, cause the report was fake," Lala smiled slightly. "Although at the time we weren't sure but now I know cause I saw Yume after that," then her smile turned bitter. "But she wasn't Yume... she was rampaging and destroying everything, I don't think she was sane, the thing is the moment I saw her something strange was happening my power also went out of control and time kept freezing until eventually there was this big explosion from both of us I think.... almost like our powers joined together and exploded, and then I woke up on the same day Yui and Shougo transferred,"

And then all hell broke lose with them all asking questions.

"Hah! Hah!" Yui woke up in a cold sweat. She had the same nightmare she'd been having for a while now. "O-Onii-chan!" She called out. "Onii-chan where are you?" She cried.

Ever since Yui was a child the only person who cared about her was Shougo so she always relied on him whenever she had trouble because he was all she had in the world.

"Onii-chan!" She got out of bed and walked out her bedroom but she then froze when she saw the clock. It was the afternoon meaning she'd slept for ages and usually during this time Shougo was working with their Father.

Neither of them knew their mother, they didn't even know if they had the same mother. All they knew is that their mother was someone was an ability since Yumekawa Florence wanted children with abilities.

That's why to him Yui was such a disappointment since she was born normal.

"The house is so big when I'm by myself," she mumbled as she poured some water into a glass. Then she heard the door open and in came a red faced Shougo. "Onii-chan? Are you okay?" Yui wondered as she touched his forehead. "Yume! You're burning up! You need to rest," then she noticed his head which head two furry ears on top.
"Yui... I don't like it," was all he said before collapsing on the surprised girl. Then there was a poof and instead of Shougo there was a golden wolf passed out in the floor.
