I wake the next morning and walk into the kitchen only to be greeted by a smiling Feyre. "Good Morning!" "Morning Fey, you're up early." She hands me a cup of tea. "I know but I have training with Rhys this morning, then I'm teaching some lessons at the studio after and figured I would get a headstart on the day. What about you? What's your plan?" I take a sip of my tea.
"I don't have to head into the studio until later so I might just lounge and read" The next thing I know, Mor winnows in. "Hey girls." Feyre sighs. "You winnow into the townhouse whenever you want and now Liyah's apartment? Do none of you Illyrians understand the word 'privacy' ?" We laugh and I put a hand on her shoulder.
"Relax Fey, I let her winnow in when she wants. Mor usually only ever stops by when she has something to tell me or she needs to get away for a few hours. You know how the boys can be." Mor nods in agreement. "She speaks the truth. By the way Aaliyah, Happy Anniversary." She hugs me. "I didn't think that anyone would remember with everything that has happened the last couple months." "How could we not remember? It's been five years exactly since you arrived at the Night Court! The best 5 years of our lives." She comes over and gives me a hug and I hug her back tightly.
"It's been the best 5 rears of my life also even though the last year has been rough." "Awe, love you Cuz." "Love you too Mor." She sits at the island with Feyre and I start getting things ready for breakfast. "Rhysand wants to have a family anniversary dinner tonight at the house of wind." I roll my eyes. "It's not that big of a deal." "Of course it is a big deal! You've been here for 5 damn years!" I sigh and pull up my hair into a messy bun as I look at them. "I don't want my family making a big deal out of this, we really don't need to celebrate by having a big fancy dinner." Feyre is next to speak.
"Which is exactly why no one told you until now because we knew that if one of us had told you, then you wouldn't let us do this. Your brother has a hard time saying no to the two of you." I shrug but she is right. Rhysand can't say no to anything when it comes to his little sister and wife. "That's true but still, you don't need to do this." They both smile. "But we want to. We all appreciate you and you're important to us. Just let us do this please?" I officially give up and put my arms up."I surrender, You all are impossible and stubborn, I swear." They squeal in delight.
Especially you Rhysand. What did I do!? Whatever you think I did, I blame Cass and Az. I just roll my eyes and send him a vulgar gesture. You all went through making this anniversary a big deal and I know that it was your idea for the most part anyways. We just wanna show you just how much we appreciate you and how much you mean to us so what better way than doing this. Today is all about you. You know well enough that I don't like attention. Well lucky for you, it's just the court of dreams tonight. No one else.You're a pain in my ass Rhys. Love you too baby sister. I look over to the girls.
"You girls better go so you can get ready and help Rhys if he needs any." They both stand up. "Right. We will see you tonight and it's semi formal." "So normal night court attire? Cause there is no way that I am going to put on a stuffy dress." They laugh. "Oh believe us, we know. We'll leave you to it then." They leave, I finish eating, and go to get ready for the day.
