I made my back to the living room, trying to find Ayesha, but she wasn't there. I looked around, spotting Juliet as she talked to Zigmund. I walked over to her. "You seen Ayesha?" I asked and she looked at me. "No," She said. "You left her alone?"
"Well, I was getting a drink for her-" I said and then noticed that Zigmund was looking at me weirdly. "What?" I spat and he shook his head. "Nothing." He said, looking away. "Have fun." I muttered to Juliet who gave Zigmund a suspicious stare. I made my way back to the kitchen, making sure to avoid every moving body in there. I grabbed a water bottle and leaned against the counters, looking around, hoping I would find the girl in the black dress.
Unfortunately, a lot of people were wearing black dresses. I took a sip of the water, observing the people around me. Some girl had her hands down a guy's pants, another pair of girls was making out and all the guys were cheering them on. Cause apparently when two girl's make out it's attractive, but when two guys do it, it's disgusting.
What a fucked up world we live in.
My eyes got ripped away as a familiar voice shook me out of my thoughts. "Hey, bro, you seen Abby?" He asked and I gave him a bored stare. "No." I stated, shrugging.
"You good?" He asked, suddenly looking concerned, I looked back to the guys that were cheering the girls on. "I just saw your girlfriends sucking the life out of you, things are going immaculate." I said, and he sighed. "Your date is looking for you."
"Okay?" I said, snapping my eyes back to his, secretly hoping I would find her soon. "What did I do to you?" He asked and I let out a cold laugh. "Golden boy doesn't know what he did wrong."
"No, I don't."
I nodded, pushing myself away from the counter I was leaning on. "What I said." I said. "Your girlfriend is outside." I said, walking away. I caught the thankful smile he shot me, not bothering to return it.
I decided to go upstairs, cause that's where Beau came from before he told me Ayesha was looking for me. "Ayesha?" I asked in the pretty much empty hallway. I turned around the corner, knowing that's where the bathroom was I walked into earlier.
"Joshia," Ayesha said as she came out of the bathroom, mascara on her cheeks. "What happened?" I asked, quickly making my way over to her. "No- Nothing." She said. "No, what happened?" I asked and she wiped at her eyes. "There was this drunk guy, he was following me." She said. "I'm sorry I left you alone, I shouldn't have done that." I said, putting my arms around her small body. "It's not your fault."
I rubbed her back. "Beau gave me this shirt," She said as I pulled away. "It's for you."
She handed it to me and I grabbed it. "I'm just going to put it on in there, give me two seconds." I said and she frowned. "Okay."
I walked into the bathroom, quickly changing the shirts. "Hey, do you wanna fix up your make up?" I asked as I opened the door. "Sure." She said. I opened all the drawers, trying to find something that could help remove the make up. "Is this something that can help?" I asked, holding up cotton pads and a bottle of something. "Yeah," She said, taking the bottle and reading what was on it. "Thanks."
I looked at her as she turned to the mirror, putting some of the liquid on the pad. Her fingers brought the pads under her eyes, rubbing softly to remove the mascara. "Why do they even have make up remover?" She muttered and I grinned. "Make up might be a secret hobby." I said, sitting down on the closed toilet.
I was glad the door of the bathroom was closed, it drowned out the obnoxious music from downstairs. "Or because most of them have regular hook ups or partners." I said and she looked at me, her face already looking less panicked. "I like the first one better."
