Broken || Meredith Grey

Prologue

I just realized I didn't put a TW when I uploaded it so here it is
Trigger Warning - Suicide Attempt

It's the 17th of November 1994. Sadie Harris realized that her friend Meredith Grey wasn't in biology class. Why did Meredith skip class without her. They had specifically agreed that they would attend biology on thursdays so why wasn't Meredith there?
Maybe they could still skip class together, Sadie thought as she went to look for Meredith.

Opening the restroom in the east wing, 'their' restroom where they normally spent time skipping class, Sadie stepped in a puddle. She saw something she would never have expected. The puddle was red like blood, it was blood. Meredith Grey, her best friend, was sitting in the puddle, leaning against a wall. Her eyes were closed and her wrists were slit. There was a scalpel laying next to her. She might have taken it from her Mother, Ellis Grey, who was a surgeon, but she wasn't sure.

She took some paper towels from the dispenser next to the sink and applied pressure on her friend's wrists like she saw them do it in a movie she watched some time ago. She took the hairbands she was wearing around her wrist to tighten the paper towels around Meredith's arm and ran out of the restroom and acroos the hallway to the next classroom...

"Call 911... Meredith... slit wrists... tried to kill herself... restroom..." she said panting to the teacher in there before she ran back to the restroom to apply more pressure. The teacher Mrs. Smith saw the girl whose clothes were full with blood and immediately dialed 911 with the phone in the classroom.

3 Minutes later paramedics entered Boston Westside High and ran towards the girls' restroom in the east wing from where they took Meredith with them to Massachusetts General Hospital.

When they arrived in the ER one of the surgeons, Dr. Ellis Grey, was already waiting for the ambulance, her residents were with her. One paramedic, Johnny Miller, started to present the patient. "Patient is Meredith Grey, 17 years old, severe blood loss after suicide Attempt. The patient still has a pulse."

Ellis looked at the paramedic with disbelief for a second before she turned on her surgeon mode again and tried to save the life of the girl who was her daughter.
Normally someone has to stay in a psych hold for 72 hours after attempting suicide but Ellis, as one of the best surgeons in the hospital, made them release Meredith after 18 hours.
They never talked about the "incident" as Ellis called it after it happened. So Noone ever treated Meredith after she tried to kill herself, she just switched schools.

Hey, I've read some similar stories and really liked them, that's why I'm writing this. If you see some similarities between the stories it's probably because I read the fanfic and liked the idea...
English isn't my first language so I think they might be some mistakes, if you see some, just tell me.
