Niall threw his head back and laughed loudly, very aware of Harry's eyes that were drilling holes in his back as he conversed with one of Harry's cousins.
Harry on the other hand was seconds away from storming over to Niall and dragging his arse away from the damn wedding.
If only it wasn't his only sister's big day.
The wedding ceremony was long over and they were now at the celebration party. But it was still too early to drag Niall away and leave.
He had to endure watching Niall and Kyle, his cousin chat like they are long lost best friends.
"If you are gonna murder your cousin with your eyes, might as well walk up to them and literally kill him. I'll get rid of the body." Louis' voice brought Harry away from the staring contest he had with Niall's back.
He looked at Louis and saw the mischief in his friend's eyes, albeit the serious face he had.
Before Harry could say anything, Louis smiled really big and Harry rolled his eyes fondly.
"Do you have feelings for Lucky Charm?" Louis asked using the new name he had given to Niall since he had arrived and found that he was Harry's date. "And don't you dare say otherwise because the glare you are sending Kyle spells jealousy in capital letters."
"What?" Harry looked amused. Yes, Niall was an attractive lad and all but really, he hadn't any time for love or relationships so no he didn't have feelings for Niall or so he thought.
"I don't know what theory you used to deduce that but no I don't have feelings for Niall." Harry said with a frown on his face. "I wasn't glaring at Kyle, I was glaring at Niall for being so touchy with my cousin when he knew that we don't get along." Harry explained himself.
He would have rambled on if Louis wasn't giving him a pointed look. He just sighed and raised his eyebrows waiting for whatever Louis had to say now.
"Fine, lie to yourself all you want but just know that in all the years that we've known each other I have known you better than you know yourself." With that, Louis turned his attention to his two bickering friends whose girlfriends had left to use the ladies' room.
"What's up with them?" Harry asked Louis as they watched Liam and Zayn glare at each other.
"I have no idea." Louis sighed defeatedly, "I swear my friends are gonna be the end of me." He pinched the bridge of his nose.
Liam and Zayn kept on glaring at each other before Zayn spoke up. "Stop wasting her time, you don't even like her, much less love her. You only got involved with her to irk me." Zayn seethed.
Harry and Louis shared a look of amusement wondering what their friends were arguing about now.
"Oh shut up, what do you know? You fucking hypocrite. Just leave me the fuck alone." Liam retorted and turned on his heel walking away.
Zayn sighed and looked at Louis and Harry but before any of them could ask anything, the girls got back and took in the situation with raised eyebrows.
Harry decided to leave Zayn to talk to his girlfriend and Louis left to look for Liam with Tara.
When his eyes met Kyle and Niall, he felt something boil deep within his stomach; the two lads were practically hugging now, laughing and joking like best buds.
It was never a good idea to let Niall drink that much wine, he had said it himself, wine messed him up quickly. He was okay with beer because he was Irish after all but wine did a number on him and Harry was clearly seeing it.
With his stomach still boiling, he marched over to Niall and Kyle and snaked his arm around the assistant's waist.
"It's time to go, baby." Harry whispered in Niall's ear and the lad turned to him with a lazy smile.
