Tonpa continued to explain about Hisoka, and y/n only watched as Hisoka's head turned and walked away from them.
"Until-.. He killed an examiner he didn't like..' The group seems shaken up by the fact that Hisoka was allowed to join the exam once more. Gon blinks, and looks where Hisoka had gone and back at y/n who blanked off. Leorio was holding his briefcase and shake his head at the explanation.
"He seems dangerous....So we should stay away from him as much possible..." For once, leorio said something smart to the group and y/n nodded opening their mouth only for tonpa to join in.
"Oh! I forgot!.." Tonpa would reach to his side and look into his satchel. "Something to mark our meeting-" He got cans of assorted orange drinks and looked at them. Gon, leorio, and kurapika would smile in awe. But y/n wasn't having it, you could say they didn't like drinks from strangers.

"I appreciate it!" Leorio remarked holding out his hand. Tonpa handed the drinks to those three at first.
Gon smiled and held the can in his palms, and kurapika stood beside y/n holding his own can.
"Thanks!"
"Yeah...thanks.."
" I was kinda getting thirsty!.."
Tonpa got closer to y/n and held a drink for them, y/n hesitated before grabbing the can from his chubby hands. Their bandaged hands would hold the metallic case with a loose grip as they eyed the casing. Their suspicions grew as they would look at tonpa and the other people huddled up away from them.
"There he goes...Acting like the nice guy.." A stranger spoke quietly to his friend, as e/c orbs would stare at them.
"Out of everyone here....he's the rookie crusher..."
The h/c haired being then jolted a bit as their mental alarms rang, but they sighed as they stared at their friends.
"Best luck to all of us!.." The group toasted and bumped each other's cans together before opening the cans. Y/n was the last to open it as they watched tonpa's body movement. They opened the can and the back of their hairs seem to stand up on edge, as eyes would look at the group but mostly at y/n and gon.
{Y/n's POV}
I watch as my friend took a sip of their drink, and then spit it out slowly. I would eye the can's content and wonder how it tastes because a soft and sweet scent would tickle my nose.
"Gwahh....Tonpa i think your juice was expired.." Gon spoke and held the can away from him. Leorio who stood beside him spitted the orange contents out like a fountain, in front of tonpa. Kurapika simply stood beside them, not having to spit out the drink because he hadn't drunk from it.
"SERIOUSLY!.... That was close!.." Leorio wiped his mouth with his sleeves. You continued to stare into the can until you couldn't take it and finally set your lips on the cold metal. Kurapika was dumping out the contents and he turned to greet you, only to jolt and watch you drink the orange soda. Tonpa was going to apologize until the group turned and saw you continue drinking it. The taste was a bit bitter, but the sweet taste of the orange syrup evened the taste out. But there was something that made you want to drink more, and it energized you for a bit like a burst of energy when you drink coffee. You finally finished the can and crushed it, refreshed you turned to him and asked for some more.
"B-but it went bad-?"
"More." You asked staring at him, and the group sweatdrops. Tonpa gave up and handed you more cans before walking away and apologizing as you put away the drinks in your bag. Someone watched as you open the bag and showed you some of the snacks you bought on your way here.
"Talkative man...AND you!.." Leorio then started to scold you and shake you like maracas. "Don't drink that!.. You'll get sick!.."
~--------------A Couple of minutes of scolding-----------------~
You walked through the crowd to search for someone since you noticed that Hisoka was here. You then stopped a bit, because a few feet you would've bumped into tonpa once more.
"Hey, Tonpa!..Can I get more of that juice?... It's probably because of my nerves!.." A white-haired boy moved his arm behind his head, and it seemed that you won't notice between those two, so you decided to move away. The boy seems to notice you cause he stepped in front of you to grab the drink, which stopped you from moving ahead and away. With a swift movement, he opened the can and drank it right in front of you. You sweatdrop as his blunt move, but you tried again to move and did again on purpose.
'Don't worry..I've trained to handle things like this.." He smirked and then look into your eyes, and for your response, you looked away because he was getting on your nerves. "Poisons...Don't affect me..' He smirked at your reaction when you flinched and looked at tonpa.
You then stopped and blinked. "Wait...The drinks were poisoned?.." The boy then snorted and covered his mouth, and started to walk past you, and bumped his shoulder to yours and your gut made you grab his arm that was going in your bag sneakily.

"Don't try me." You responded closely to the thief, and the boy seemed to be surprised at your fast reaction to him slipping his hand in your bag. You clicked your tongue as he laughed a bit and walked away leaving you and tonpa behind.
