jasper kirstein is the son of jean kirstein and pieck finger. he was born on may 6th , making him a taurus. as a baby he didn't cry much and was actually a pretty quiet baby. as a toddler he liked being carried by his parents - and loves both of them equally.

he started school at the nearby elementary school that was near his house , and got bullied on the first day because of the shape of his face. because of that he lost a lot of self confidence and started being more doubtful in himself. he comes home with bruises almost every day and tries to hide it with his scarf but pieck never fails to find the bruise. he wishes to be like his parents ( mostly jean ) because he seems them as brave , strong , and heroes. 

even though he gets bullied a lot at school he gets really good grades and has a high IQ. sometimes he'll avoid getting beat up by the bullies by outsmarting them. he thinks up ways to escape using the fence in the back of the school. but because of his self doubt he doesn't do this much - thinking that he would fail in his plan to escape them.
