Chapter 3- Wrong Mountain

After Octavia's, "We're back, bitches!" The rest of the 100 come running out of the drop ship hollering in excitement. Even Clarke who's kind of a hard ass, is excited, you could tell just by looking at her.

As soon as I stepped out of the ship, I took a moment to let the beauty of it all sink in. There were trees and bushes and flowers. It was the most colour that I had ever seen in one place in my life. The air felt sweet on my skin and even sweeter in my mouth. Everything on Earth was real and not tampered with by the Ark. We were surrounded by purity at its finest.

As I looked around I noticed the Clarke was no longer enjoying it. She was frowning down at a map. So naturally I go over to her and see what's wrong.

She gives me a look that I know all to well, something is very, very wrong. "They dropped us on the wrong damn mountain.", she tells me with anger, "There's a radiation soaked forest between us and our next meal." She proceeds to tell me that she's trying to map out a route for us to get to Mount Weather safely. As she's telling me this, Wells comes over. He let's us know that communication is down.

Clarke being Clarke, shakes her head and says how getting to Mount Weather is our number 1 priority right now. After she says this she gets right back to planning the path to Mount Weather. Jasper saunters over and starts flirting with Clarke and I. Wells being the over protective big brother that he is, pushes Jasper way.

One of Bellamy's petty followers come over and gets in Wells' face. I can already tell that there's a fight brewing. But before it gets started Bellamy walks over and shouts, "We're on the ground now!" And gives a big speech. Wells tries explaining that they need to find Mount Weather.

Octavia Blake sends Clarke, Wells and I an amused look before mocking us about being privileged. After this Clarke basically tells everyone that she doesn't give a crap who's in charge but what she does care about is surviving.

Bellamy sees this as a chance too be an ass so he steps forward and says, " I got a better idea. You three go find it for us. Let the privileged do the hard work for once." He ends with a sneer.

That's when I take my chance and step forward. I give him my meanest look and tell him, "Screw you. We all need to go, if we want to live."

One of Bellamy's followers, Murphy, I think steps up and tries to take on Wells. He kicks Wells' leg. Before anything could really commence, Finn drops down from a ledge on the drop ship and gives Murphy a threatening look. "Why don't you wait until it's a fair fight?", he menacingly asks Murphy.

That's when Octavia comes up next to Finn and suggestively asks, "Rescue me next?" He gives her a little smile before walking away.

As I walk around I hear 2 people speaking to each other quietly, a boy says, " I did something that they'll kill me for when they come down."

I turn a corner only to see that it's Bellamy and Octavia Blake. I leave not wanting to be seen.

Clarke has already started gathering people for the journey to Mount Weather. So far it was only Clarke, Finn, Jasper, Monty and Octavia.

"So when are we leaving?", I ask Clarke cheekily.

"You're not coming, I need you here. You need to make sure that Bellamy and his goons don't do anything to Wells. Okay, Kira?", she asks me. She gives me a look that says I have no say in the matter. I begrudgingly sigh okay.

I was sitting on a log, bored out of my mind when Murphy approaches Wells asking him if he'd found any water. Wells says no he had not but he was going back out if Murphy wanted to join him. Murphy declines and as he does Wells looks  the side and notices that someone wrote on the drop ship, 'FIRST SON FIRST TO DYE'. I notice it as well and I come running over, as I run I tell Murphy and his friend off. I let them know that the spelt die wrong.

Bellamy also comes over and lets them know that if they're planning on killing someone it's not a good idea to announce it.

I give him a grateful smile and he just gives a small one back. Murphy and company follow him away.

When we're alone Wells and I both say, "Murphy's a douche." We give each other a wide smile. I think to myself how glad I am that my best friends are here on Earth with me. Well two if them anyways. But the third one not being here is my fault...
