You didn't recall much of the trip from the boat to your current location, as you had fallen into a deep sleep. When you woke up, you found yourself in a crate, but you werent moving. Everything was still, and you assumed that you were in the prince's palace located in Esempii, the land that his parents sent him to in order to take care of a problem.

The silence was very apparent, but was interrupted by the faint sound of footsteps. You were still trying to adjust to your new location when you heard a voice.

"Why would they send me a bird? As if I don't have enough going on right now..."

It was a male's voice, he sounded frusterated and tired. Your heart began to pound as the footsteps got closer and closer. You had no idea how he would react upon finding out you were actually a human. Well...part human anyway.

"I don't know Dream, maybe a bird will be fun to have around. Some birds can repeat words and stuff!"

A much lighter and joyful voice spoke. There must have been another man trailing behind. The footsteps got louder and louder as they approached the cage. You hugged your knees close to your chest in an attempt to soothe the nerves that were rising with every second.

The man sighed.

"Well, I guess it couldn't hurt to have something fun around for once."

"Hey! I should be all the fun you need, jerk!"

The stressed man sighed, "Yeah yeah, now lets get this thing out."

The cloth was ripped off your cage as you were revealed to the two men who you heard speaking. You stared at them wide eyed in suprise.

what strange looking people...

You continued to hold your knees close to your chest as you observed the two. The first man had a white mask on with a drawn on smile that gave him an eerie aura. The second man wore a blue shirt with strange sunglasses on his head, despite the fact that they were inside.

"George, this isn't a bird."

The man with the mask turned to who you now assumed to be George. "Are my parents going senile?"

George came closer to your cage.

"I don't know man but she has wings? Maybe she is some kind of hybrid? I've got no idea how they came to the conclusion that she was a bird though..."

The man with the mask sighed as he turned back to you.

"You got a name?" He asked.

You stared at him, as you did not have a name. You were about to say that you were never given one, but you were not sure if he wanted you to speak, so you just shook your head.

As you did so, the man in the mask stood rigid. He seemed to have come to some kind of realization.

"George, she could be a spy. My parents said they sent a bird, they couldn't have possibly meant her. What if they took the bird and replaced it with a spy?"

George sighed, "Dream, you are ridiculously paranoid but I already know that once you suspect something you never let it go. What are you going to do with her then?"

"Lets put her on surveillance where we can observe her at all times, we can't risk her escaping and telling them anything. Plus, if they find out their precious comrade has been caught, it might give me more leverage."

Your mind was going a million miles an hour trying to get a sense of what was going on. This man, the prince, was suspecting you of spying? Spying for who? You were about to say something when Dream stepped on your cage with his foot.
