"wait y/n-" he stopped, seeing your brother step out into the room

"whats up spangles. we were going to get some food" tony smiled towards you, pulling on his jacket "want to join us? you two seem to be close"

"oh i'm sure he's busy. maybe tomorrow-"

"i can come. lets go" he nodded eagerly, quick to follow you and tony into the elevator as you sighed "i can drive if you want"

"its cool, i got it" tony smiled "we can just stuff y/n in the trunk"

"no, i'll just sit in the back" you leaned against the wall, pulling out your phone

"i'll join you" steve butted in as the doors opened and you walked to the car. steve quickly got into the back seat, left side behind tony of course. you stood for a moment before opening the passenger door, hopping in and buckling your seat belt

"it would be weird to leave tony alone up here" you muttered, returning your focus to your phone

"so y/n, any new hot gossip i've missed out on?" tony asked, starting the car and shifting into reverse 

"oh same old. girls night with wanda and natasha tonight. movies, face masks and talking about bOoOys" you joked, looking towards him, ignoring the blonde who's eyes never left you

"the only boy you need to concern yourself with is- JESUS!" he slammed on the brakes, letting out a gasp

"i don't really think i need to talk to the girls about jesus, but thanks?"

"oh shush. so where are we going again?"

"how about Lee Garden? are they still around?"

"they are, i haven't been there in ages" he turned on the signal light, switching lanes

"ooo alright perfect. so what's new in tony's world?" you continued to completely ignore steves existence. he invited himself to join you, well tony did technically. nonetheless, he was irrelevant at this given moment

"well, i'm going to need your help in the lab tomorrow finishing your suit. she's almost done but we need sizing. plus i may give you one of the many ai's waiting to be used."

"i thought you would have finished it by now. but i'm game."

"well you've barely been pulling all nighters with me anymore. its so very lonely down there!" he complained

"well sorry i've been trying to keep a healthy sleep schedule. i'll be spending a lot more time with you now, i promise." you shifted a bit in your seat"

"good. how about you rogers, whats new?"

"nothing. just work" he nodded to himself, pulling his eyes off you

"really? just work? as if you weren't just about to fuck agent carter in your office this afternoon" he chuckled

"it's not like that" he muttered

"hey, i get it. i won't say anything since my baby sister is here-"

"not a baby tony" you interrupted

"shush the adults are talking. as i was saying, she's hot. she is clearly into you, just ask her out"

"like i said, it isn't like that. she kissed me, i am not into her like that.. i like someone else"

"woah chill player" tony laughed, looking at you "what?"

"oh nothing. just listening" you smiled
