Chapter 31

Your firework shenanigans however did cause a bit of damage. Even though they were small they burned a few of the chairs. Hermione tried to look as though she didn't care but her thoughts said otherwise. The twins were dancing around the room with you as Draco watched from afar. One of the first years came down from their dorm with his nose shooting out blood. You immediately started laughing as soon as you saw him but ran over to him with a cloth that you grabbed from one of the chairs. "One of your joke sweets again?" you asked Fred "yeah" he said.

"We'll take him to the hospital wing" you said motiong for Draco to come over. Draco pushed open the portrait door while you walked with your hand holding the cloth to the first years nose. You made it to the hospital wing where Madam Pomphrey took him but basically shoved you out of the room. You returned to the Gryffindor common room where you sat in between Draco's legs on the floor. "When's the next DA meeting?" you asked "you hardly even do anything" laughed Harry "I know but I like watching" you said.

"Well it was gonna be tonight" said Harry "perfect, we'll be there" you answered. "You know we're not gonna teach all those spells you like to use" Hermione said "it's only the basic necessities for defending yourself" she added. "Those spell books show all the big ones" you said "well yes but-" "can I have the ones that we're not gonna use?" you asked. "Yeah I guess" said Harry "okay, great!" said.

You stayed in the common room until dinner. You walked with everyone to the Great Hall with Draco holding your hand so you wouldn't start running. Every time you entered the Great Hall Chris would glare at you but you would either give him a sadistic look or if you were with Draco you'd pull him into a kiss. This was one of those nights where you kissed Draco in front of him. You grabbed Draco's shirt and pulled him to you as you connected your lips together.

You pulled back from Draco as you looked back over at Chris with a smirk and rolled your eyes. Fred and George were trying to contain their laughter after just witnessing the interaction. You took a seat next to Draco at the Gryffindor table and began to eat. Chris was still looking in your direction which irritated you. "Why is he still looking at me?" you sneered "how can you tell, your back is facing him" said Ron "mind reading" you chuckled. "Since you're a legilimens have you looked into your heads before?" asked Ron "yeah, sometimes it just happens but other times I'm just bored" you answered.

"But don't worry... I won't tell" you chuckled putting a finger up to your mouth. "So you could eavesdrop on any conversation?" asked Fred "something like that"you said. For the rest of dinner you felt Chris still staring at you which made you irritated but also uncomfortable. Dinner was finally over but the DA meeting didn't start for another half an hour, but you wanted to go to the room of requirement anyways. Harry wanted to go early as well so you, Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Draco all made your way over to the room of requirement. When you got there the door started to form onto the wall.

Harry pushed it open allowing for everyone to head in. You immediately went over to the books that Harry wasn't going to be using to teach and started grabbing a bunch. You took 8 and headed to a couch that Draco was sitting on. "Have you heard of the spell fulgari?" you asked Draco "I don't think so he answered "fulgari" you said shooting a white stream of light binding Dracos hands together with luminous cords. "That could be useful," you said waving your wand to make the cords disappear.

"Reducto" you said, disintegrating one of the pillows into nothing but ashe. You smiled at what was left of the pillow and slumped down next to Draco. You leaned your body against his, making him wrap his arms around you. "I love you" he whispered "I love you too" you whispered as he connected your lips together. Tommy came into the room and when he saw you he gave you a big bright smile. He came running over to you and Draco and jumped onto both of you. "Looks like someones in a good mood" you chuckled "it's a DA meeting, they're so fun" he cheered. Ethan, Nick, and Connor came in as well and stood next to the couch you were on.

Bailey had entered the room not long after, Evan excused himself and walked over to her. They started talking and it went into a full blown conversation but you couldn't hear what it was about. Nick and Connor pushed you more towards Draco and sat down. Tommy was now laying on both of Nick and Connor's laps with his head looking up at you. Harry was talking to Hermione and Ron about something which you assumed was about the lesson.

More students began to enter the room and they were all just talking to each other. Tommy saw his other first year friends and quickly ran over to them and they went to sit on a different couch. They were looking at what looked like a crystal that one of them brought. "Hey everyone, partner up and we'll be going over what he usually do" Harry announced Draco got up from the couch and pulled you up as well. Connor and Nick got up as well and stayed close to you and Draco so you could talk.

Ethan and Bailey were practicing disarming and they were laughing the entire time. You and Draco were doing what you usually did while Nick and Connor were trying to see how far they could throw their wands. Draco was getting bored of all the basic stuff and so were you. Harry was still walking around the room observing and giving tips to those who needed it. "I think we'll try something new today" Harry said "we'll pair off into groups and practice on these" he said pulling up what looked like wooden dummies. You, Draco, Nick, Connor, Evan, and Bailey all formed a group.

"Who wants to go-" Evan said "reducto" you said cutting him off disintegrating the dummy into ash. You waved your wand and formed it back into its original state and stepped back allowing the next person. Nick and Connor went at the same time and sent the dummy flying across the room nearly hitting a few people. Draco burst the dummy into flames and severed it in half, Bailey used the shrinking charm and shrunk it. Evan then blasted it and sent it flying across the room. Everyone took turns attacking it and switching spells so you could all try new ones. "What if we all use the same spell at once?" you asked "which spell?" Evan asked. "How about the blasting curse?" you suggested "lets do it" said Nick and Connor in unison. You all lined up in front of the dummy and held your wands out. "Three, two, one" "confringo" you all said, sending a blitz of fire engulfing the dummy in a fiery explosion. The dummy was blasted to pieces with it flying all across the room. Harry and Ron were laughing on the other side of the room while you were all laughing as well.

"I think we'll call it a night" Harry announced as he threw all of the dummies back into a closet with a flick of his wand. You grabbed Draco's hand and ran to the new door that appeared. You waved your wand in front of you causing the doors to fly open revealing the empty corridor lit by the torches.
