Two Weeks Later.
The last 14 days have felt like one big hallucination.
It felt like everywhere I turned it's all I saw. It was in newspapers, all over the news. Anywhere you went people were talking about it.
I knew Harry had planned or done... something. But seeing Andy and David's faces on the news was completely surreal.
It was so strange, sitting there watching the news about the explosions at the bakery. It totally destroyed the building, Harry's old apartment included.
The reason is what was strange wasn't the fact several bombs had been set off in a place I'd once called home but it was the fact I knew Harry had done it.
Or at least organised it.
Seeing the broadcasts about the entire situation unfold, all of these things I knew Harry had been a part of or done but then seeing David's face plastered on the screen.
It wasn't until the second week that the news really broke with David, at first it was all just about the explosion.
Then the news stories didn't stop the entire next week.
Tuesday:
"This just in -- we've been given the name of two main suspects in the bombings in Fitzroy North last week. Six other men have been apprehended in connection to the case. However the police commissioner has said their focus is on David Sullivan, CEO of Sullivan Medical Inc and his son Andrew Sullivan. Their whereabouts are still currently unknown.
Tonight partial human remains were retrieved from what is believed to be a basement at the location of the explosion. However police have said they were unable to identify who the remains belonged to at this time, due to the condition of the parts discovered.
No employees of the bakery, or local residents were harmed in the explosion, and police think the remains may belong to perpetrators involved in the bombing."
Wednesday:
"Tonight we learn more horrific details about the Fitzroy explosion and who people are now dubbing the Monster of Melbourne, David Sullivan. He is now also being linked to another three murders.
Claire Ellis, 41, an owner of a local animal shelter. Her body was discovered in her home last week.
Margaret Sullivan, 45, David's wife. Her body was discovered in the Sullivan home, in a chest freezer in the couples garage, after police searched the property.
Maurine Sullivan, 55, David's sister. Her body was discovered in her residence by her nephew last week.
These are in addition to another thirteen murders committed in the horror night of bloodshed, including eight police officers, as well as several other cases of Mr. Sullivans business associates that were thought to be missing persons but are now believed to be dead.
He is also believed to be linked in the shooting of another officer, Steve Forbes, a senior sergeant currently in intensive care; along with a fire at a local club in the CBD on the same night, known as Placebo.
The remains discovered in the basement are now believed to be those of David Sullivan and Andrew Sullivan.
Both have been tied to criminal involvement with several men from a local biker club, known as the Lucky 13's. All of those men are now in custody and cooperating with police.
A search is also underway for the known president of the club, Mick Dalton, who is still currently missing.
In a statement from the clubs founder, he said the club denounced these rogue members, condemning their behavior, and the rest of the members were unaware of any involvement these men had with Mr. Sullivan.
The founder has pledged to raise and donate 1.2 million dollars to help repair and rebuild the destruction left from last week's explosion."
Thursday:
"In more breaking news surrounding the David Sullivan case, a federal investigation is now launching into Mr. Sullivan, along with his company, and several other high profile men and organisations believed to be linked with him. This includes several lawyers, judges, law enforcement, members of parliament across the country. There is building pressure for a Royal Enquiry into the case."
"In a bizarre twist tonight, to the ever unfolding case of the Monster of Melbourne, a New South Wales woman -- Patricia Reed has been arrested in connection with David Sullivan. Police have only said that she is being held in custody and investigated for fraud.
Patricia is the mother of Andrew Sullivan's estranged ex girlfriend, Abigail Reed."
Friday:
"In the story that's gripping the nation, started by a shocking explosion at around 5am on the 11th, more sordid details regarding the Sullivan saga are emerging.
The commissioner has given a statement this afternoon, detailing that they believe the series of murders and bombing were linked to a criminal business deal that soured between rogue members of a local biker gang and Mr. Sullivan.
The body of club president Mick Dalton was discovered in the early hours of this morning in a shallow grave, along with another grim scene of at least another twelve bodies on a property three hours outside of Melbourne.
The house on the property along with the shed were both burnt to the ground, where the remains of the other bodies were found.
These included several other members of the bike club and business partners of Mr. Sullivan.
As more is uncovered, police have discovered what is believed to be a high profile crime ring involving Mr. Sullivan. Shocking details are surfacing exposing an insidious web stemming from corporate CEO's, all the way to law enforcement and parliament -- many have been taken into custody this week.
The magnitude and severity is still yet unclear but this horror discovery is linked to countless cases of child abuse, molestation, sexual assault, domestic violence and even more unsolved murders.
It is believed Mr. Sullivan and those linked to him have spent years tampering with or covering up these cases.
Last year Mr. Sullivans company was under investigation by the Ombudsman regarding misleading insurance policies, and now under federal investigation it's under suspicion of embezzlement, racketeering and tax fraud.
