Chapter 1

For some people it's hard accepting being alone. Not having anyone to talk too or share moments with can be hard to cope with for them. Feeling as if there is a part of them is gone or missing, the feeling of emptiness some of those people may feel. It could be that they are just lonely, not in actual need for anyone to speak to. They think they must have a relationship, that love is needed in their lives. And if these people get their feeling of love that they so desire they they will feel complete.

This is a feeling for only some people, others outside of this train of thought think being alone is fine. They don't feel anything missing in their lives, they don't need anything more than themselves. It might seem almost prideful to others at first, but it doesn't take someone with eyes on the back of their head to see that people who are alone don't think as themselves as perfect, or above others. No. They see themselves as whole. Being fine being all alone and not needing anyone or wanting a special feeling like love.

A person like Todoroki Shoto would be one of those people who don't want love. Not partially not wanting it, but rather seeing himself as a whole. Todoroki was complete. Seeing people hold hands did not effect him. It did not bother him what so ever. But Todoroki was not so dull to not know that there was hole in the word whole.

Todoroki was leaving his dorm to head to his class, 1-A. He happend to go to a hero training high school. That school was called UA. Todoroki walked down the hallway, his class room just right up ahead of him. Being in no rush, he scrolled slowly to the entrance of the 1-A class. Todoroki was slow to even open the door. But once he did he was met with all the familiar faces he already knew. Nothing new. Some of the students that we're in the class weren't there right now, it was fine, the class hadn't began.

Sighing, he found his sit in the back next to Tokoyami and on his other side Tsuyu. He sat in his chair like he did very school day. Fine by him. Todoroki had, and never will have a wish to change the routine.

Soon the other students started to pour in the classroom. All the classmates he recognized and seen before, almost too many times for his liking. Todoroki isn't the most social teenager that went to this school. One that wasn't a student but still stayed in UA high school as much as them, Mr. Aizawa. He taught at UA, most importantly he taught class 1-A.

Mr. Aizawa lazily came in with a slow walk. It seemed to be an hour or so before he even got to his desk and could begin with his usual welcome.

"Are all of you brats here?" There was no time to answer. "If not, you should've been. Listen brats, if you think you have what it takes to be a hero, you're wrong."

This is normal for Mr. Aizawa. He isn't the most friendly guy. But after a while the students get used to it. Todoroki included. They do need someone to push them to their limits, to their best so that they can become the best. Heroes. They'll be the best heroes.

Mr. Aizawa went on, speaking about something. Probably some kind of lecture to become a hero. Todoroki should've been paying closer attention to this. He did want to be a hero. But his mind was else where. And he was beginning to feel sleepy. His blue and brown eyes glazing off to the window in the classroom. Feeling at peace with this, he could've fell asleep right then and there. Still Todoroki didn't have a wish to be one of those lacking off students and sleep all through class, though his teacher even fell asleep sometimes. Maybe closer to all the time. Apart from that last note, he couldn't went for class to be over all ready.

There was a loud sound. Very loud. It broke everyone out from their trances. Todoroki thought that maybe a intruder had gotten in their school. But he calmed his worry's down, it was the bell. Class was over. Being dismissed, he didn't budge from his seat, instead laid his head in his arms. Hoping to take that nap, through he would have to knock out all the noise that his classmate near by were making. Todoroki didn't see that as a real issue. He expected his own teacher to be napping too, but found himself wrong. Mr. Aizawa had a worried look on his face. That perked the boy's attention. It wasn't like the man to look so cornered. Mr. Aizawa's arm was stretched out to his ear. He was on the phone Todoroki finally realized.
