"Good morning, Ms. Y/n. How are you feeling today?" The police officer asks, taking a sip of his cup of coffee. You nod and slightly smile. "I'm doing much better. Thank you for asking."

The room becomes silent until the officer finally decides to open his mouth. "Okay, let's get started, shall we?" He asks, reaches into his bag and pulls out a manila folder. Several documents come out, all laid one by one in front of you.

You lean forward and look at them. "Do you recognize the woman?" He points at the pictures. "I do," you reply after some time. The man clears his throat."Tell me about them."

At first you're a bit hesitant and don't know for sure if you should tell him everything. "It's okay. We just need more information to catch the culprit. We've found some leads but it's not enough to arrest them."

If it means catching him. . . then I'll talk. Before you could think twice, your lips were already moving. "Her name is Kim Jieun. We met and became friends when we were about three years old. We went to the same schools, hung out all the time after school and on the weekends. We were always together. She was very outgoing, kind, and never gave up despite the hardships in life.

However we slowly started drifting apart when we got into college. She took up singing and I took theatre. Whenever we had time, we'd meet up and catch up. Jieun made many friends and everyone loved her." You stop there and don't know how to continue. The thought of talking about your best friend made your insides churn and your lips tremble, threatening to let out a sob.

Even after three years, you still couldn't get over her death. The officer senses your sorrow and doesn't ask any further.

You gulp and feel a tear trickle down your cheek. "H-How does this information help you find the culprit?"

"Is there anyone she hung out with that seemed suspicious?" He asks instead. A sigh leaves your lips, your mind racking through all the people you knew were around her. Your eyes roam around as you bite on your lip. "There is someone . . . he was a friend of ours."

"Can you tell me his name or some things about him?" He asks, pulling out a notebook and pen. You suck in a breath and look around, your eyes roaming around the room until they land on the clock. "His name is-" you couldn't seem to get his name out of your mouth. For minutes you sit in silence.

The investigator realizes how hesitant you are. "Let's continue this-"

"No! I'll tell you. His name. . . is Namjoon. Kim Namjoon." You blurt out, body slightly tensing up at the mention of his name. The mere thought of remembering him always makes your blood boil. The officer jots down a few things before he closes the notebook.

"How about this? We can continue this discussion at a much later time if that's okay with you. It's to help you clear your mind for a while." He says out of sympathy. "Thank you." You bow and walk out, returning to the room they provided for you on another floor of the building.

You fear for your life not knowing when something might happen to you. After all that's happened, you continue to live in fear. Yet somehow, you still willingly see the man behind the cause. Of course, no one but you know his actual name. Everyone knows him by another name but only you know that it's Namjoon.
