"Lucky for you I accidentally brought my brother's track pants — Hey wear some shirt!" y/n yells as Kuroo comes out of the bathroom only wearing the gray pants, leaving his toned abs and chest exposed.
"But it doesn't fit on my arm and it's short." Kuroo expressed while holding the shirt y/n handed her.
"Gosh I'm sorry that's the biggest shirt I could find on my wardrobe. Oh wait, maybe my oversize jacket would fit on you." she runs into her wardrobe and pull out a white oversize jacket.
It does fit. A little too cute for him though.
It has a cat ears design on the hood and a paw on both ends of the sleeves.
"Pfft!" y/n laugh and she whistles. "You're cute hahaha" She laughs aloud.
"Hey stop that!" Kuroo blushed.
"It's your fault for barging into my room. Anyway, I ordered food too. Have you eat yet?" y/n smiled as she sits on the floor facing the small table in the center of her room. She starts unwrapping the food.
Kuroo settled himself across her. He glances at her face again. He can tell that she recently cried but didn't mention it. He knows she'll just lie anyway. His eyes landed on y/n's right foot and found gauze wrapped on it.
"What did the doctor said?" He asked. He sees terror on her face but she immediately shrugs it off with a smile.
"Umm...it's kinda not good. hehe, he advised me to rest it for a while." She said before stuffing her mouth with food to avoid answering more.
"Then...how about the match next week?" Kuroo hesitantly asked. He's afraid of what the girl would tell.
She paused until she finally swallowed her food. "I can't play for the meantime." she paused. "Don't worry it's okay. There's still next time." She assures him with a wide smile. "Come on let's eat. I ordered for two." She said which Kuroo gets the cue. She doesn't want to talk much more about it.
It's dead silence. No one talks for like ten minutes.
"Umm Kuroo?" She starts.
"Do you have...umm a problem?" She asked with hesitation. Since the moment he jumps into her room drenched with rain. Obviously, something happened.
"Yoko broke up with me." He replied fast trying to hold his emotion. y/n was shocked. Her mind is puzzling with all that happened in the morning.
"I'm sorry," she whispered.
"Hey, It's not your fault." Kuroo laughs trying to brush off his emotion that starting to build.
"Umm, anyway, is it okay if I stay here tonight?" He asked with hesitation. y/n looked at him confused.
