Y/n's POV
I panicked. Although I knew he was tremendously nervous about the words that had just fell from his mouth, I couldn't help but tear up in panic and relief as I dug my face into the crook of his neck as the tears spilled out of my eyes and onto his perfectly shaped collarbone. I gripped onto his shirt as the words "I love you too Rintarou" came out of my mouth and ended with a very light sob.
"Wipe your tears baby we're going home" Suna whispered softly in my ear. "Hmh" I hummed softly wiping my tears on his shoulder. "Done?" "Yhea"

"Whydidyou start crying?" Suna said as he gave me his sweater sleeve to dry my tears. As soon as I looked into his concerned eyes I was on the verge of tears again.
"I know this sounds weird. But no one has ever said they love me the way you do. No one's taken care of me the way you have. And I j-just really appreciate you not leaving me"
At that moment everything felt right, his arms wrapped around me tightly as he rubbed circles onto my back, his warm tears and soft breathing on my neck, and his sweet reassuring whispers in my ear telling me everything will be fine and he'd never leave me. And I trusted those words.
"I truly love you Y/n, I would do anything for you. I'd kill for you, I'd steal for you, I'd give up volleyball for you. Anything. I'm never leaving you Y/n. I want to be with you until I die." "You didn't have to make it so morbid at the end" I said as I, once again, wiped my tears on Rintarou's shoulder. "Well, if I didn't you wouldn't know how serious I am being" "Well- uhhh, you not dying bitch" I said as I kissed his lips softly but at the same time passionately.
"I really love you Rintarou" "I really love you too Y/n"
We both stayed silent and just let the feeling in the air sink into our lungs. It was a mixture of both our scents although his sweet cologne was the only thing I could smell as I buried my face into the his sweater. I found a few holes on the wrist of his sleeves but I didn't mind them.
Soon enough the sun was setting and we both fell asleep cuddling under the covers on Suna's large bed.
Suna's POV
"Rin" Was the first thing I heard when I woke up. I subconsciously looked down at Y/n laying on my chest she didn't look as peaceful as she usually did when she slept, making me concerned. Tears at the corners of her eyes as she slightly stirred in her sleep. "D-don't l-leave me" She sounded so hurt, sobbing at this point, I felt the need to comfort her and tell her I'm not leaving.
