"I SWEAR IF YOU DON'T DELETE THE PHOTO RIGHT NOW ICY HOT!" Bakugo yelled as we made our way to the mall. He had been doing this since we left and people were staring.
Bakugo jumped up to grab Shotos phone but Shoto pulled away at the last second. "Bakugo you're the one who agreed to the photo." Shoto says probably not knowing he's only pissing him off more.
"I WASN'T MYSELF NOW DELETE IT!" Bakugo screamed trying to grab the phone again.
On my left Momo walked silently probably thinking of a way to calm Bakugo down. I turn to her whispering, "Hey don't worry he'll wear himself out eventually."
Momo try's to give a faint smile, "I sure hope so. I'm just so confused, I mean isn't Shoto acting a bit different. Almost like he's acting like an actual teen boy."
I peek over at Shoto who smiles when pulling the phone away again. I turn back smiling at Momo, "Eh I don't really notice anything too different. But growing up Shoto was like this with me a lot so it was more weird for me to see how he usually is. You know all formal and stuff."
Momo nods, "Oh I see, it's nice you bring out his fun side. Now if only he could be fun without making Bakugo want to kill him at the same time." We both laugh agreeing with what she said as the boys continue to argue.
"You know I bet your girlfriend really enjoyed the photo Bakugo." Shoto smirks looking over to me. My eyes widen and the word girlfriend. I mean yeah Bakugos cool, but him, my boy friend? No way in hell, he doesn't even want a realationship.
"I DON'T CARE IF SHE LIKES IT I HATE IT!"Bakugo yells catching me by surprise at the fact he didn't correct Shoto.
Momo elbows my arm lightly whispering, "Did Bakugo just call you his girlfriend?"
I put my head down hiding my blush, "Uh no he probably just didn't hear what Shoto said and didn't correct him that's all."
"Oh Bakugo it seems you've made y/n pretty upset. I guess she really wanted to keep the picture." I hear Shoto taunt him even more.
"I TOLD YOU I DON'T- wait what?" Bakugo finally stops screaming and I pick my head up to see him staring at me. "You really want the stupid picture that much?" He ask. Oh god he's so oblivious.
"Uh- uh- uh ye-yeah, I like it," I stutter.
Bakugo grunts looking ahead, "Whatever, we're here already so just forget it.BUT IF I SEE IT ANYWHERE I'LL KILL YOU BASTARD" he says pointing at Shoto.
"Understood." Shoto says putting his phone away.
When we enter the mall the first thing I notice is the new food place. Momo notices my exited face and laughs a little. "Why don't we all meet here in an hour or so and we can go to that new place and have lunch," she suggest.
I turn to her nodding my head excited, "Great idea Momo."
She laughs even more, "Alright then, Shoto wanna go check out that store?"
Shoto nods, "Sure it looks nice."
Momo and Shoto start walking away and Momo turns back waving, "Ok see you two later!"
I wave back to her, "Yep see ya. Have fun you two!"
I look over to Bakugo who seems unpleasantly calm. He notices my staring and asks, "So where do you want to go first?"
I think about the question for a second and look around me at all the stores. Soon my eyes land on one very social store. I look back at Bakugo beaming, "That one!" I point to the store on the upper floor to put right, "The Marvel store!"
Bakugo rolls his eyes walking in the direction of the store, "What ever loser let's just hurry up."
When we reach the store I run straight towards the clothes rack. I pick out a shirt that has the marvel logo and the faces of all the characters. I look over at Bakugo whos on his phone probably feeling out of place. My smile disappears for a second, "Oh right you hate Marvel don't you?"
Bakugo looks up quickly putting away his phone, "How would you even know that?"
"Because of that one night you walked downstairs and I was watching it. You called me a nerd when you found out what I was watching." I explain recalling the moment from one of my first nights here.
Bakugo thinks for a second before remembering the moment as well, "Oh yeah I did call you a nerd."
I nod picking out the shrug in my size, "Yeah so let me just buy this and we can go somewhere you like next."
Bakugo shrugs, "I don't really care where we go pink eyes. As long as I'm not going to the same stores as Momo and Icyhot I'm fine."
"Oh uh alright." I say a little confused.
After paying we exit the store and Bakugo looks over to me asking, "Where now?"
I wonder a second before answering, "Why don't you pick? I know you said you didn't care but still I dragged you along so it's the least I could do."
Bakugo sighs, "Ugh fine......you like manga right?"
Hearing him mention manga makes my eyes light up for a second, "Uh yeah but how'd you know?"
"You have a bunch of it in your room. I noticed it the first time I was in there" He confesses heading to where I know the manga store would be.
My cheeks get red, embarrassed I let my whole manga collection out in the open, "But Bakugo I said we should go somewhere you like."
Bakugo stops looking back at me, "Yeah we are. I read it too, now come on."
I feel my face stop burning up being replaced by a smile. I hurry to catch up as we walk towards the store together.
"So what's your favorite manga?" I ask leaning down to lookthrough the shelves at the store.
"Attack on Titan." He answers quickly. How predictable. "What about you?" He asks behind me staring at another shelve.
"Uh well growing up it was always Naruto, but I really like Ansatsu Kyōshitsu, and Fruits basket too. It's pretty hard to really choose cause I've read so many, and I've seen basically all the anime's too." I answer picking up a manga I haven't heard of before.
"Fruits basket?" He says confused by the choice.
"Yeah it's a romance manga where this one girl meets guys who all happen to be possessed by zodiac animals. I'm not usually a dance of the romance genre but the manga and anime are both really good. I especially love Kyo and Haru." I say realizing I've gotten pretty carried away.
"The cat and the ox? That's so like you." He huffs picking out a volume of one piece. "You have everything or do you need more time?" He ask looking over to see what I have.
I loo back at him intrigued, "Wait you know about Fruits basket?"
Bakugo realizes his mistake and his eyes widen in shock, "What no way. That's stupid."
I smile standing up straight, "Oh my god you do. Have you seen the anime it's so good!"
Bakugo puts his hand over my my mouth, "Keep your voice down idiot. Let's just go pay, we have to meet the other two losers for lunch in half an hour so let's just hurry to another store."
I nod and Bakugo moves his hand away from my mouth. I decide that for my own and everyone else around us safety I'd keep quiet about him liking fruits basket for right now.
When we leave he asks again where I want to go, and I decide on a technology store. We spent most of our time there, but at the end we still had about 10 minutes.
"We could just walk around." I suggest once we leave the technology store.
"I don't really care as long as we aren't going to a clothes store." He says carrying four bags, two of which were mine. He had only let me carry the bag that held the new ear phones I got which weighed less than two pounds. He was carrying the things I got from the marvel and manga store along with things he got at the tech and manga store.
"I really could have carried those bags, Bakugo." I say easily holding my singular bag.
"Shut up." And people say I have a short temper.
"Sorry baby." I blurt out before realizing what I said. I had meant it as an insult but when I look over to Bakugo he's stopped dead in his tracks. I try to explain to him, "Bakugo I didn't mean it like-"
"Don't say anything. Let's just go." He says brushing past me with the bags. He puts his head down but I can see it's bright red.
Bakugo walks down to the lower level leaving me to just try and keep up. When we get down there he walks around a corner where there's a singular bench. He goes over dropping all the bags and sitting down. He doesn't even look up as he pulls out his phone completely ignoring me.
Unsure of what to do I walk over taking a seat next to him on the bench. I think of something nice to say that wouldn't just make him even angrier. "So who's you're favorite attack on titan character?" I finally ask.
"Eren." He says still not looking up.
"Hoe about Naruto? You watch that?" I say trying to keep the conversation going.
"Sasuke or Temari."
"Ansatsu Kyōshitsu?"
"Terasaka or Karma."
"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba?"
"Insuke."
"Haikyuu?"
"Kageyama."
"Fruits Basket."
"Kyo." Got him. "Hey wait, what the hell. I told you I don't watch that dumb shit."
"You just said your favorite was Kyo you also knew which animal he and Haru were." I point out.
"God why the hell do you insist on annoying me. I should have never said yes to this." He scoffs sitting back.
"Hey I don't care if you read romance manga. It doesn't have an assigned gender. C'mon today wasn't that bad because of me was it?"
"Let's see, I wake up and you use your quirk on me making me act like a fool. Then we get here and you out me for reading fruits basket and then you call me a dumb name and now you're sitting here annoying me again." He explains thinking of all the things I've done.
As he names them I realize he's right and what was supposed to be a nice day Ive completely ruined. "Yeah you're right. Sorry I made you come Bakugo." I apologize looking away from him.
"Come on, the others are probably gonna be there. Let's go." He says standing up front the bench.
"But Baku-"
"Let's just go, it's fine I don't care just try to stop annoying me so much." He says picking up the bags.
I get up grabbing my one bag, "Yeah right let's go."
As we walk to the restaurant I realize Bakugo hasn't yelled at me once since splitting off from the other two. I think back to what to earlier when Momo told me the things he said earlier when he was under my command. Was he trying to make sure I was having a good day because the last time we were in the city he complained the whole time? And also why the fuck didn't he correct Shoto when he called me Bakugos girlfriend? Did I really want him to correct Shoto though? I mean yeah, he was rude, aggressive, and constantly complaining, but still. He was nice sometimes, even if I was the only one who ever got to see him being nice, I liked it. I liked him, a lot. But who knows, maybe I'm just over thinking.
