"the hell's that thing that's around your waist?", gojō questioned tōji, who had only glanced over at himari.
"it's a demon weapon holder", the woman vaguely answered.
"how come you don't buy me gifts for all the shit that I do for you, huh?", sukuna snarled, harshly dropping the fake holy sword onto the table.
"because you never ask for anything!", himari retorted, making sukuna click his tongue.
"anyways, we're ready for action! mechamaru and ryō, you guys are with me. tōji, yūji, and rumi, you guys...umm....I don't really know...stay hidden I guess?"
itadori physically sagged, as the boy wished to accompany his lady on this secret mission too.
"okay...", the boy pouted, making himari smile.
"no worries! you'll get your chance to shine, my baby yūji", himari cooed, pinching the male's cheeks as she internally promised herself that she'd protect his damn smile.
"lady himawiiii!! pwease wet go of my faceee", itadori whined, making the woman sigh as she complied.
"well, if there's no more questions, let's get going then!!", himari exclaimed, only to be held back by tōji.
"something the matter?", himari asked, to which everyone was staring, causing tōji to promptly let go.
"nothing. see you later. I'm going to nap now", the male yawned, making himari lightly chuckle as she held onto bunny sukuna.
as the condensed group all stuffed into one carriage, the coachman started their journey towards the zen'in household.
it took at least an hour or so to reach the destination, as gojō claimed that he tried to move as far away from them as possible, meanwhile still staying in the near vicinity of the imperial palace.
"good luck, himari", getō smiled, exiting the carriage with gojō first, as muta and the woman waited a while, with sukuna perched on top of himari's head.
"okay, ready?", himari whispered, to which the teenage boy had nodded, slipping out of the carriage that was now parked at the back of the zen'in property.
the two wore all black with a fabric that covered their faces.
gluing their backs against the wall, muta easily flipped over the barrier, meanwhile himari struggled to climb upwards, making the boy roll his eyes.
"help me up, you hoe!", himari harshly wispered, causing muta to cross his arms in pettiness.
"don't forget that I'm the one that has the potions and shit!", himari reminded, to which the teenage boy had sighed, pulling the woman up, as she watched muta stably land on his feet.
himari mentally prepared herself as she first dangled her legs from off the edge of the wall, meanwhile she closed her eyes, just letting go.
falling on her bum, the woman winced in pain, as sukuna's bunny paws gripped too tightly onto her head, in fear of falling.
"can you be any louder?!", muta muttered.
"shut up!", himari quietly retorted, tilting her head forwards, motioning for muta to enter the girl's room first.
the boy nodded, professionally breaking in through the window, as himari could barely make out the gasp from miwa.
the blue-haired girl was filled with many mixed emotions: felicity, worry, confusion, and despair.
it wasn't until a few minutes later that muta had discreetly exited the room, signaling for himari to go in next.
the red-haired woman wiped her sweaty palms against her dark hakama, clearing her throat as miwa ever so slightly flinched due to past trauma.
"lady himari...you—"
"I'M SORR—", the woman suddenly covered her mouth to quiet down her voice.
"I'm sorry for everything I've done, miwa-chan. I was selfish and only cared about my own feelings without realizing that you didn't even wish to be engaged to naoya. but I promise you, I've changed for the better and I don't wish to marry that man no more. you can say...my taste has ✨upgraded✨", himari quickly spurted out.
miwa stood there frozen, making himari wonder whether this was a glitch in the matrix or not.
it wasn't until a single tear had slid down her face that himari had realized that past himari had put this girl through so much that she couldn't even process what present himari was currently saying.
"l-listen, miwa-chan, I really am sorry for what I've done to you in the past!! please let me repent my wrongdoings by helping you and mechamaru get togeth—"
"lady himari...", miwa started, making the auburn-haired woman slowly shrink away, as she let miwa quietly sob.
"y-you have no idea...h-how long that I've awaited for the d-day that you'd forgive me for unconventionally taking your fiancé a-away!", the girl cried, making himari immediately rush over to go embrace the girl.
"I-I'm really sorry, kasumi...you have nothing to be sorry for. it really was just me and my vindictive attitude that got the best of me. I promise that I'll help you get out of here, as long as you give me a chance", himari seriously stated.
miwa nodded as she gently dabbed her tears away with a handkerchief.
"h-huh? l-lady himari, did you always have a bunny on top of your head?", miwa suddenly asked, making sukuna's beady red eyes slightly open.
"a-ah...that's for a later concern, hehe".
