"You bought that much?"

Minkyong gasped, turning to Mijoo who was just as amused at the sight of boxes of coffee waiting by the entrance of the set.

"I didn't," replied the stylist before she passed a cup to her. "But someone wanted to give you this instead."

Baffled, the assistant director asked who bought this much. And from whom the hot chocolate came.

Mijoo nodded her head at the actors' tent that made the latter raise her brow.

"Ji Hyun did?"

"No, sweetie. Kyungsoo."

Stepping away from the lass, Mijoo left her there in bewilderment. Kyungsoo did that? The coffee wasn't really a big surprise, but the hot chocolate cup in her grip is the one that draws much amusement and astonishment to her.

How did Kyungsoo even know she liked hot chocolate?

Before the scene starts at the shout of "action!", Minkyong ran to the actor, personally wanting to thank him for the kind giveaway he did for the staff. It really did make the ambience lighter and everyone love a cup of coffee in the morning. Surely, no one can resist it.

"Kyungsoo-ssi," she called, earning the 25-year-old idol to turn his back to face the young lass, wide eyes.

"Gamdognim," he acknowledged.

"I just wanted to say thank you for the hot chocolate this morning. I haven't had the chance to speak to you about it as we were all occupied earlier,"

Kyungsoo's lips curved into a wide grin, a gummy smile appearing as he gazed at Minkyong, bashfully shaking his head.  "Oh, it's nothing, gamdognim."

"Really, the hot chocolate was very nice."

"Glad you liked it, gamdognim."

"I was just wondering how only I was the one who received a hot chocolate—"

"Kyungsoo-ya, you're on standby!"

Without a word, the actor went on his way back to the set as he apologetically sent a smile at the assistant director who momentarily lost track of time on their shooting.

Still intrigued, Minkyong let it slide and went back to work as everyone did.

***

It had always been more like a tradition for the production to eat together for lunch. There were sponsors awaiting them outside the area, accommodating everyone as their sign of support for the actors who work really hard just as the staff.

Minkyong and Mijoo marched towards the food stand that served ramen and meat as Mijoo caught a glimpse of Junggi's frame who just came out of the set. She motioned the lad to come over in which he ran to where they were.

While Minkyong ordered for her food, Mijoo and Junggi were called by one of the staff, telling that they needed them for the additional scene, leaving the assistant director by herself.

As she waited for her food to be served, she felt a presence beside her.

Minkyong's eyes flickered to the person next to her and she smiled.

"Kyungsoo-ssi, you're here too."

Taken aback, the actor faced the other, chuckling. "Hi, gamdognim."

"Wow, you look more handsome when you smile. You should do that more often,"

The female vendor then placed the bowl of ramen the assistant director ordered, not letting Minkyong see the flushed state of Kyungsoo. His ears reddened as he awkwardly stood beside the lass who was too oblivious to know.

As Minkyong carried the bowl in her hands, mindlessly glancing at the actor, she went to sit on a vacant table that had two chairs that goes with it.

The ramen was actually hotter than Minkyong thought it would be. Her fingers were starting to get numb as she came closer to the table. Luckily, she reached it before she could drop the hot bowl.

"Kyungsoo-ssi,"

"Yes?" he slightly spun his head to her direction.

"Do you have anyone to eat with?"

"Hmm.. I believe I don't. Manager Hyung left to do something,"

"Ahh. You can sit with me then." Pointing at the unoccupied chair opposite her, her chopsticks clang as she squinted her eyes from the blinding sunlight that directed towards them.

A bit stupefied, Kyungsoo did as he was told, nevertheless. As soon as the vendor gave him his ordered ramen, the same thing Minkyong have, he walked to the table as the immense heat in his fingers triggered him to suddenly drop the bowl a few inches above the table, causing the soup to spill out.

Minkyong immediately stood up to get tissue from the food stand and went back to wipe the mess on the table before Kyungsoo could even react.

Mumbling a faint thanks, the actor proceeded to sitting down, embarrassed at the situation he inflicted.

Minkyong went back to her seat, lifting her chopsticks to resume eating. She noticed his unmoving statue, hence, her eyes flickered up to him, brows creasing.

"Why?" she asked. "Is your food still okay? Do you want to change it?"

"No, gamdognim."

"Kyungsoo-ssi, you can stop calling me that when we're out of the set. It sounds so formal, I can't." she chuckled, stirring the noodles in her bowl before she motioned the latter to head on eating.

Kyungsoo reluctantly picked up his chopsticks and before the assistant director knows it, he was slurping the noodles audibly, eyes glimmering in delight at the savor dancing in his tongue.

This made Minkyong snickered.

"Is it delicious?" she asked.

Kyungsoo momentarily looked up, cheeks puffed as he munched on the noodles, then nodded. He awkwardly lifted his hand to cover his mouth full.

"You look like you're filming a CF," Minkyong chuckled once more, that earned the other to slightly laugh as well.

When he finally gulped down, he gazed at her as she was now the one slurping her noodles with wide eyes. Their eyes met as she went on munching, cheeks rounding in shape that caused Kyungsoo to laugh at her cute face.

"What?" she furrowed her brows as she watched him laugh uncontrollably, sipping the sauce that was staying on the side of her lips.

"Nothing, nothing." He waved it off and the assistant director tsked.

"So," she said, putting down the now empty bowl. "I think this is the first time we ever talked. Like just us both."

Attentively listening, Kyungsoo bobbed his head at her words. "Yes, gamdognim."

"I told you, you can stop calling me gamdognim now." She insisted, saying the word "gamdognim" in a mocking way. Kyungsoo laughed again at her expression. "The title sounds so serious when you're the one saying it."

"How come... Minkyong-ssi?" he hesitated.

Minkyong grinned. "Better." She threw thumbs up. "I dunno. You just look all serious and somehow intimidating sometimes?"

The idol's eyebrows twitched.

"Especially when you do this," she then mimicked the way he looked, lowering her head as she knitted her brows with a serious look.

Kyungsoo stared at her, unfazed as her expression changed. "Actually, come to think of it, it would look scarier if you smiled while looking like this."

He shut hid lids as he pursed his lips, preventing himself to let out his laugh at her face. When they finally calmed down from all that, Minkyong perked up.

"Are you having a hard time with your acting?" she asked in which Kyungsoo contemplated about.

"Sometimes I do. Sometimes I don't. It depends on the demand of the scene."

"Hmm.." the lass hummed as she nodded. "To tell you the truth, you're really doing a great job. As long as I'm concerned, the character suits you so much. Especially with that nonchalant face you have most of the time."

"Oh, I'm pretty sure I'm not always like that, Minkyong-ssi."

"Yes, you are!" she grinned smugly. "Well, most of the time."

"But you definitely just saw me laugh awhile ago," he interjected, mirroring her smug look.

"That's right." she agreed. "And if you ask me, I prefer seeing that kind of side of yours."
