"Goodnight. You don't know how happy I am that your here. Alex and your dad are so happy to see you." My mom says and I smile at her. "I looked months and months for you. Crying every night and the Lord has finally answered my calls and brought  back my baby.

"I missed you a lot mom." I say and she kisses my cheek.

"Tomorrow we are going to see your Grandparents and cousins. They will be so excited to see you."

"Okay. Good night mom. I'm super excited." She smiles one last smile at me before walking out the dimly lit room and closing the door. I whip my phone out start to text Cassie.

F: Hey, got here safely.
C: Moss is coming to visit you! She replied quickly. I was shocked, he really is coming to see me.

F: Why? He's okay?!
C: Yeah he's fine. Well at least he looks fine. But I got class. See you later. Bye.
F: Bye

I turn the phone off, realizing that my time zone was seven hours ahead of theirs. I start to doze off as stars hung above me.

.......The next day......

"Did you sleep well, Fern?" My dad asked me as he raised the coffee cup to his lips.

"Yeah, It was nice." I say and smile. "Where's Mom?" I walk over to the table and grab a cup of coffee. It was warm and refreshing, I missed mom's fresh cups of coffee.

"She went to buy you some clothes and what not." He said and went to get a plate out the microwave. "You hungry?" He says directing the plate of muffins toward me.

"Yeah, I could use something to eat. Where's Alex?" I say, biting into the blueberry muffin.

"Went to school. That's where you will be going in a couple of days when you get settled." He took another sip of his coffee and smiled.

"Sounds great. Can we watch Supernatural? They didn't have that at the dorms." I quickly regretted that I mentioned the dorms.

"The dorms?" He asked suddenly, shocked.

"Oh nothing. Sorry." I say, not knowing that I said too much.

My dad starts to laugh and takes a bite of his bacon. "Honey, you can tell me. I want to know what those horrible monsters did to you." I stare at him and take another bite of my muffin, a big bite this time to give me a little time to think.

"They didn't hurt me," I take a deep breath. "Well not alot." I sighed and traced the bite that Moss gave me on my neck with my fingers.

"I would love to know. Those monsters deserve to burn in the deepest depths off hell. You should know that." He grabs my hand and smiles at me. "Those monsters are not-"

"They aren't monsters!" I yell, out of the ordinary. "I'm sorry, I just need some time."

"It's fine." He said. "The police are coming by later. Just to report that you came home. But I'll tell them that you need some time."

"Thank you." I take my orange juice and grab another muffin as I walk to my room. I go to my bed and stare out the window. The view was beautiful.

You could see the big back yard that was filled with flowers and palm trees. The nice lake glistening under the sun and the birds flying around the clear blue sky.

I look to a tree where I saw a figure. Shocked, I get closer to the window and see the person staring back at me. The shade made me not see the person's full face but it was there.

I watched the person smile before vanishing behind the tree.

"Dad! There's somebody outside my window!" I yell and seconds later he comes rushing upstairs. He comes to the window and looks out.

"There's no one out there. Are you sure you're okay?" He asked, looking at me with worried eyes.

"Yeah I'm fine." I say, not even believing the words coming out my mouth.

He smiles than kisses my cheek. "I won't tell mom sweetheart."

I hear the front door close. "I'm home!" My mom yells and we go downstairs. She was carrying four loaded bags of clothes and shoes.

"Mom, that's a lot of clothes." I say as she starts walking upstairs.

"Oh, they aren't all for you. I had to get a little something for me too." She laughed and walked to my room. Setting three of the four bags on my bed. "You have one hour to do whatever before we leave to meet your cousins."

"Yeah, so be quick honey." My dad chirped in.

"Okay." They walk out and I close the door, walking to the bathroom.

I take off my clothes and open the bathroom window, letting the cold air come in.

I turn on the shower and start to bathe. Closing the curtain so no water hits the floor. It felt good to shower after the long train ride.

I close my eyes and sing. But after awhile something didn't feel right.

I turn off the water and go to my bed. Realizing that the bathroom  window was closed.

But I paid no attention to it and got dressed, going to my Cousin's house.
