Chapter 10

Beomgyu's POV:

Ahhh he smells like vanilla. His coat stings with the softest hint of cinnamon. mmmmmm. How could any man ever smell so heavenly~ okay I sound creepy...

"Stop sniffing him, beomgyu!" I whispered to myself.

"Oh did you say something?", Taehyun curiously inquired.

"u-Um no sorry I was just talking to myself," I responded. That was also when I noticed how I MYSELF smelled. Of course, after walking/jogging for so long, I smelled sweaty and felt disgusting. Great job on making a bad impression, Beomgyu, I thought.

"So uh, the thing is, since I walked the way here, I -um I feel really sweaty - do you have a spare uniform or clothing I could borrow? And could I quickly use the customer bathroom to get changed?", I asked, remember I at least brought a sweatshirt in my bag.

Taehyun looked over at me and sighed. "You know what, I don't blame you for having to walk here so don't look so terrified. And plus, since you're an employee now - in the back, we have an employee locker room. I'll bring you some of my clothing since I don't have uniforms or anything."

Taehyun pulled me over and showed me the large, clean locker room. It had a small shower, three toilet stalls, and three sinks, plus at least 15 lockers.

"In here, you can take a shower, I have fresh towels in the closet and I'll bring you some of my clothes I keep here. You won't be needing underwear or whatever right? Just a shirt and pants?" Taehyun asked, nonchalantly.

"I- uh what, um of course not, but thank you so much for the help." I responded, dumbfounded.

"Mkay take a shower and ill drop your clothes off on the bench near the shower. Also, I'll be waiting in my office if you need me," Taehyun quickly directed.

Taehyun POV:

As I left the locker room, I heard the curtain close and water blast down from the shower head. Now to get this guy some clothes and a towel.

I went to my duffel bag and got a pair of denim pants, a plain white shirt, and a black/white spotted cardigan to tie it all together. I figured this kind of outfit would be his style.

I strolled over to the back closet and grabbed a couple towels. Then, I went back to the locker room to drop all of these things down onto the bench for beomgyu to use.

"Hey beomgyu, I dropped off some stuff for you to wear, I hope its your size." I told him before continuing to walk out.

"Oh thanks! I appreciate it!" I heard beomgyu yell over the water rushing down.

I responded, "Sure. Now make sure not to use too much water up." Beomgyu assured me that he wouldn't take too long.

Outside of the locker room, I could hear his deep voice humming or singing something. Ha singing in a public shower - cute, I thought to myself.

Five minutes later, Beomgyu came out of the bathroom, his hair soaking wet, wearing the clothes I gave him.

"How did the shower feel?" I asked Beomgyu.

"Ahh it felt amazing, I can't thank you enough. Would this mean I can use the showers every morning i come here for work?" He asked me, his eyes shining.

I chuckled and said, "Of course, just leave me enough hot water." He laughed and replied to me.

"Sure. For a second, I thought you may have forgotten about bringing me any clothes," Beomgyu said quietly.

I responded, "What did you think? That I wanted to see you come out of the shower naked?"

I realized what had just come out of my mouth and I quickly looked over to see him blushing and looking down. My face was doing the same-

Man, that sounded better in my head, I thought.

"u-Um no, ahem anyway, what is our task for today?" He asked me - changing the topic.

"O-oh right, so today lets focus on your baking skills and the menu - maybe you can help me with that? We need something that brings more customers than ever before!" I exclaimed. "Since we are barely getting ANY customers to get us by, tomorrow, I want you to help me focus on a reopening idea for this bakery."

To be honest, I was kinda shocked with my determination. Clearly, so was beomgyu.

I guess today's the day a sweet, new chapter of my life begins~
