Paradise. (Ice Age 4: Diego & Shira Fan fiction.) Chapter One.

Chapter Five.

- Shira's P.O.V. -

It's been two weeks since we last saw Sapphire, everyone was really worried & upset about her & my breakup with Diego. "Any luck?" I asked, Sid nodded his head no, "Sorry Shira, we can't find her," Ellie says, "What am I going to do?" I asked, pacing back & fourth. "Maybe you & Diego should talk about what happened, it would probably help alot," She said, "Then rest, we can look for her tomorrow Shira," She says, "Alright," I said, Sid & Diego walk up towards me. "Any luck?" I asked, they nod their heads. "Can we talk?" I asked, looking at Diego. Sid walked away from us, "I'm sorry," we both say at the same time. "Diego, what if we never find Sapphire?" I said, "We will," he said. "Wanna go to sleep? I'm exhausted," I said, Diego nodded & we walked back to the cave. I couldn't sleep so I just sa outside the cave looking at the stars, "Please come home," I said, I walked back inside the cave & I laid down beside Diego then fell asleep. The next morning I was awoken by Peaches, "What is it?" I asked, "Someone caught a sight of Sapphire walking out of a cave in the forrest," She said, Diego & I followed her out of the cave & we walked up to Ellie & Manny, "Diego, Shira!" Crash's voice yelled, "What is it?" I asked, "We found her, she's hanging off of a cliff Eddie's trying to help her but she's to scared to move," Crash said, Diego & I followed him to where Sapphire was, "Sapphire!" I shouted, she was about to fall into the water until Sid got ahold of her, he brought her to me & Diego. "Thank you Sid," I said,"Sapphire," I cooed, nuzzling her. "We finally found you," Diego said, nuzzling her. "Why did you run away Saphire?" he asked, "You guys were fighting, & you broke up. I got scared that you'll both leave me so I ran away," she said, "We would never do that," I said, "Never, we love you too much to leave you Sapphire," he said. "Also we are back together," I said, "Can we go home?" She asked, I nodded & picked her up, we walked away from the cliff, we got to the others & Peaches ran up to us, hugging Sapphire. Buck landed on Peaches & he looked at Sapphire, "You scared your parents there," he said, "I'm sorry," she says.

"Hi aunt Shira, is Sapphire up?" I asked, "No, she's still asleep along with your uncle," I said, "Oh, well when she wakes up can you tell her to come & find me by the beach?" She asks, "I think we'll be at the beach today, we are going to teach her how to swim then hunt," I said, "Okay, well bye aunt Shira," she says, walking away from our cave. I laid down & started eating the antelope I got recently, suddenly two possums came flying in. They got up & high fived each other then they faced me once they heard me growling. "Oh, hey Shira," Eddie said, "What are you two doing here?" I growled, "We accidentally flew in, as you can see," They said, "We should do it again," Crash yelled, "Shhh, Sapphire is asleep," I snapped, Diego walked up to me, "Could you keep it down, Sapphire hasn't gotten any sleep," he said, "We should go," Eddie said, they took off running & I looked at the middle of the cave where Sapphire was fast asleep, curled up in a ball. "This is the longest she slept," I said, "She didn't get much sleep Kitty," he said, "When we fight we should be aware if she's around," He said, "We should get some fish for her," I said, "She'll be hungry once she wakes up," I said, Peaches & Louis walked in, "Hey Peach wanna watch Sapphire for us?" he asked, "Okay? But why?" She asked, "In case of Crash & Eddie or Sid tries to wake her, plus Buck's been wandering around & if he sees her asleep he'll try to bring her to his crazy world," Diego said, "Alright," she said. "Thanks Peaches, oh & if she get's up just tell her to eat the rest of the antelope," I said.

- Peaches' P.O.V. -

"For a month old cub she can sleep a very long time," I said, looking at the cub. "Well she did run away, she probably had to find her own food with out getting caught," Louis says, "I'm still grossed out by that half eaten antelope," Louis says, "Same, it's a shame she doesn't eat fruit," I said, "Peaches? Are you in here?" My mom's voice said, "In here mom," I said, "What are you doing in you r aunt & uncle's cave baby?" She asks, "Err, cubsitting a sleeping Sapphire," I said, she walked up beside me & aw'd. "She's so cute when she's asleep," My mom says, "Well, I'm going to find you uncle, bye Louis & Peaches," she says walking out, about an hour later Shira & Diego return with some food by food a dead antelope & fish, "She's still sleeping?" Shira asks, "She stirred abit but didn't wake up," I said, "Or not," I said, noticing that Sapphire had woken up due to the smell of fish & antelopes, I smiled when they nuzzled Sapphire, "Look who decide to wake up," Diego teased, "We would ask if you want to stay for dinner but you obviously don't eat animals like we do," Shira says, while keeping an eye on her cub.  "Yeah, I gotta go anyways," I said, walking out with Louis.
