Momo Pov

I slowly remember the day we started investigating Todoroki. What could bring out that side of him I saw that day. That side that made butterflies rise in my stomach. I tiny voice pops into my head. You know, love does brings out the best in people.

"New mission guys! We are going to make Todoroki fall in love." I decide.

"There is no way that emotionless boy is ever going to fall in love." Jirou retorts.

"Don't call him emotionless!" I reply, clearly annoyed.

"Why are you defending him? The entirety of the time we were stalking him he was completely boring."

"Because.... I don't know why but I can assure you that he is not emotionless."

"Maybe the reason is a little thing called love." Mina teases.

"Yeah, no way I would ever fall for Todoroki."

"You're lying to yourself Momo just admit it." answers Mina who is clearly in matchmaking mode, "Slightly altered mission guys! We are going to make Todoroki fall for Momo!"

"Wait, what!?" I shout, surprised.

All of her friends were already formulating a plan. I smile. As long as this makes them happy I guess I can go along with it. Plus Ochako is happy right now after Midoriya's confession and I can't ruin that. But I know that I will never fall for Todoroki and he won't fall for me either. So my friends can try however much they'd like.

Todoroki POV

I really need to get more sleep. I say as I look in the mirror. My hair a sticking out every which way and I see dark bags forming under my eyes. I quickly fix my hair. I should probably start my day with yoga. Wait. WHAT! What have I turned into? Shoto Todoroki get a hold of yourself. You have never done yoga in your life there is no need to relieve stress with meditation or anything.

I hear a knock on my door.

I open it.

"Who is this?"

Yaoyorozu enters wearing ripped jeans and a pink sweater.

"Yaoyorozu."

"What are you doing here looking like you are about to go on a date?"

She starts to frantically point behind her. As I divert my eyes to where she was gesturing towards I notice a pair of horns and a mop of pink hair sticking out from behind a wall. Ashido. Class matchmaker. She must really ship us to go through all of this trouble.

"Please come in my fair lady." I reply a smirk itching at the corners at my mouth.

"Thank you very much my good sir."

I lead her into my room and close the door.

"I can hide you in here for a while. But not for too long or she might suspect that we are doing something weird."

"Thanks, Todoroki. You saved me!"

"At least you won't have to deal with Bakugo and his spot on instincts when it comes to matchmaking because he yells and curses. A lot."

She giggles and it infects me because I start to smile. Suddenly, she stops and inspect me.

"Sorry did I do something wrong?" I ask.

"No, actually I want you to make me laugh more."

"Why did the chicken cross the road?"

"Seriously Todoroki, that is the best you can think of. We need Kaminari and his Whey face."

"Hey, you can't blame me if I'm not studying humor in school!"

"Yeah I know."

She studies my face once again as if she is trying to find something she's lost.

"Did you lose something?"

"Yeah."

"Well what did you lose?"

"I could ask you the same question."

"Seriously Yaoyorozu. Give me the honest answer."

"I lost something that I have only seen once."

"That's a peculiar response."

"It's true. I first saw it at a maid cafe. I think I lost it after that."

"Oh, did you lose it when you were stalking me."

"No, I found it when I was stalking you and then I lost it just as quickly as I had found it."

"I'm pretty sure you had your fedora when you left."

Then suddenly I remember that day and I start to laugh.

"It was hilarious. You kept on talking about fedoras an-and." I bursted into a fit of laughter.

"I found what I was looking for. Thank you Todoroki." She suddenly said. She hadn't moved an inch from where she had been this whole time. What could she have found?

She exited the room as I lead her out while eyeing her with a bewildered expression. As she disappeared down the hallway I noticed that she had done it again. She had given me another pinch of my childhood innocence.

Could you figure out what she had lost or did I not make it clear?
