Val's Pov

tonight was Janel's birthday party. we ended rehearsal a lot earlier then we would have normally. J and I went back to our separate houses to get ready. I jumped in the shower and put on some black pants and a flannel hoodie. I don't know exactly what's going to happen to fight but it'll sure be fun.

Janel's Pov

well today I turn 26. wow. time goes by fast. I just left rehearsal to get ready for my party tonight. I had a quick shower and then got ready, my friend Sam came over to do my makeup and help me get ready. she also got ready with me. Sam's one of my best friends so obviously she was going to be at my party. I put on a black dress that had mesh going a long all different parts, I had my hair down and a smokey eye for my makeup to match my dress. the party was just at a local pub, I rented it out for the night. I decided to text V to find out when he's going.

J: hey, what time will you be there tonight?
V: what time do you want me to be there?
J: anytime after 6
V: I'll aim to be there just after 6. who knows what traffic will be like
J: okay! see you there :)
V: see you

It was now 1:00am the party was still going. a lot of people left after 12:00 but there was still a bunch of people there. I decided I should head out soon, I'd already had way to many drinks my body can handle and I'll fall asleep any minute. as for Val, he's the same. one of my good friends Brant was there so he gave me a ride home. Jonathan also came so he drove Val home. my sister also came home with us. she wasn't close to being as drunk as I was but she couldn't drive. she had a glass of wine or two.

Val's Pov

I don't really know what happened last night, all I remember was being in the pub with a bunch of people. wait, how'd Janel get home? did she drive? she couldn't have drove, she was way to drunk! my first instinct was to call her...

V: Janel where are you, are you okay?!
J: what? Val? I'm at home. I'm fine!
V: how'd you get home? how'd I get home?
J: Jonathan drove you home and Brant drove Melissa and I.
V: oh okay. I see. wanna meet up at the starbucks by the studio before rehearsal tody?
J: sure, I'd love to!
V: be there in 20?
J: yup

Janel's Pov

V and I met up at Starbucks and then snuck off to the studio and were able to get in without the crazy paps and crowds of people.

We were already 2 hours into rehearsal until we heard a lot of noise happening outside the studio.

"V! what's that?" I ran over to him and stood beside him. to be honest I was kinda scared.

"I don't know. someone is probably in here that's not supposed to be. it happens at the rare times. don't worry" Val was so comforting to me, as he spoke I felt safe.

"let's just get back to work" Val said assuring me all would be fine. There are way to many people that would tell this 'intruder' to get out.

about 2 minutes later our door to our studio swung open.

"oh my god" I slightly whispered under my breath.

cliffhanger. haha. so I decided that I'm probably going to update every weekend because I'm way too busy during the weekdays now. ;( TYSM for 3.68k. I'm so happy and I didn't know my story would go this far, but I'm so glad it did. sorry for any errors, and a really short chapter it's just I have a lot to do and don't have that much time to write. thankss <3
