Shania POV
Tap, tap tap
Was the first thing that awakened me. The sound of foreign acrylics dancing on a phone screen, my worst fear. My brain awoke itself from fear someone was going through my phone. And if it isn't obvious why I was fearful of that then it will make sense later.
My body shot up and my eyes darted to my right, a red iPhone XR in an unrecognizable but stunning woman's hand (If the blood iPhone hadn't been a red flag at the start, boy am I stupid) Her long fingers were decorated with a Gold Cartier ring on the middle finger and on her right wrist sported a glistening Gold Rolex to match it. Her hands were smooth and elegant and seemed to busy away at the screen.
"Good morning Shania." She said with utter confidence, she didn't dare look me in the eye though. Instead of replying to her I shut my eyes and buried my palms into my half awaken visage. I groaned loudly before throwing the covers off of myself and getting up to walk to the right side of the bed. Once I had reached her I stared down on her attempting to analyse for a familiar face.
The loose blonde curls stopped at her shoulders and although I couldn't see her face properly I knew she was gorgeous. She had beautiful olive skin which seemed so smooth you would want to stroke. She saw me standing over her and decided to lift her head up, that is when I took the opportunity to use my left hand to hold her chin up so I could view her more carefully. She didn't flinch at this move but rather stared back into my own brown eyes. Her pupils dilated staring into mine for any sense of emotion or even lust. She must've taken my action wrongly as she continued staring inquisitively and from her facial expressions it was quite obvious to me that we must've had fun the previous night.
Heh.
It didn't bother me though, who could blame her for liking me and ending up in my bed?
I know, I know, I sound cocky but it seemed to be a regular occurrence and at this point I was used to seeing foreign faces and bodies moping around my penthouse.
As I continued to stare I noticed she had emerald green eyes which stood out the most. She had freckles scattered on her face and yet again I'm guessing that the sun decided to enhance them even more since it was Summer. It was after two minutes which felt like an eternity she decided to push my hand off her face gently and continue scrolling through a phone, thank God it wasn't mine though.
I opened my mouth to speak but before I could she interrupted me (Rudely) and stood up an inch away from me, I admit it caught me off guard and I froze on the spot. She leaned into me standing on her tiptoes whilst she put her left hand on my shoulder and her right on my hip bone to whisper some foolishness into my ear. "Does your girlfriend know I'm with you?" I frowned for a millisecond before it turned into a grin, it was obvious she knew my girlfriend wasn't aware of us being together but that cheeky question obviously wasn't rhetorical.
So obviously I had to reply something to match her foolery "Well she will soon once she sees those nasty little marks you decided to leave on me" I said that chuckling slightly, whilst she was still by my ear, her breath gently scraping against my skin lightly whilst her grip on my shoulder slowly tightened. She obviously didn't expect that type of answer and decided to pull away with a blush on her face. Her left hand moved up to my nape whilst she decided to stare into my deep brown eyes, she tilted her head analysing my face even more carefully. I knew I had to kick her out soon, but nonetheless I let her enjoy her little moment since it wont ever be happening again.
Whilst she was in her trance it was suddenly interrupted by a vibrating phone shaking rapidly on the left side of the bedside. I glanced at her and she returned it and if I knew what would've happened in the next few seconds I would've kicked her out earlier. I shall be adding that to the list of my regrets.
Before my sweet mouth could even open she jumped across the bed, grabbing the iPhone sprinting into the bathroom like her life depended on it. She then proceeded to lock the door. I know, this all happened at once. With this hangover it took me another few seconds to process what had just happened before I darted to the bathroom door banging on it with my right fist balled up. I attempted to open with my left hand but it was no use.
It was when I heard the woman talking to what sounded like an angry girlfriend, my girlfriend. She did not sound amused unlike the woman who seemed to be chuckling and enjoying this moment mocking the poor girl. Although my girlfriends speech was muffled I came to a conclusion she would be coming over and I would be in big trouble, she was predictable like that and always had to make a scene and I knew she wouldn't be coming alone.
