"Y/n~!" Tendou waved at you from the bus station with the bag that he always brought to the daycare loosely slung around his neck. He had on a pair of jeans and a white shirt just as the daycare had always asked you to wear.

There wasn't necessarily a dress code, but the employees had figured out things match best and feel easier to move in when you're wearing those articles. Of course there were custom made aprons you were required to wear if you worked at the daycare, but that didn't bother you since it helped the kids recognize who they were and weren't allowed to trust. Adult wise.

"Hey Tendou," you waved back with a small smile, standing under the awning where you would wait for the bus to come and take you to the infamous daycare.

"How was your day?" he asked, starting to make small talk so the wait wouldn't have to be awkward.

"It was alright. I didn't have any homework assigned, but I did a pretty bad job on a english pop quiz. Other than that, everything was good," you answered rocking on the balls of your feet a bit, "How about your's."

"It was horrible," Tendou stated bluntly, but continuing before you could ask what was wrong, "I have a bunch of homework, I did poorly on a quiz, and I had to miss lunch to make up a test."

"I'm sorry to hear that," you mumbled, noticing the smile that graced Tendou's features didn't once leave.

"But it's okay because this morning, when I was walking from my dorm to the school building, I found this really cool rock. And I kicked it and it stayed on the path. And then I kicked it again, and it still stayed on the path, and I kept on kicking it and it didn't leave the path!" Tendou chirped with a huge smile, "Do you know how lucky I am?"

Tendou always managed to find small things that made him happy, that one simple action managing to outweigh all the bad that had happened or would happen that day.

He's cute like that.

"Oh really?" you asked, mimicking his smile.

"Yeah," Tendou nodded, "And it's in my dorm. I named it Dwayne."

"Like as in 'Dwayne the Rock Johnson'?" you asked, trying your best to hold back a laugh.

"Yup!" Tendou chirped, his whole goal being to make you laugh since he had noticed your small struggle. "It's last name can be Rocky. You know, like the movie."

You started to laugh a bit at the references which weren't at all funny, but somehow managed to brighten your day completely from the little sadness you might've felt. Even though it was only a small test that you didn't care much about.

"What would his middle name be? Stony?" you asked jokingly, looking up at Tendou for any sort of confirmation.

"That's a great name," Tendou nodded his head rapidly, "Dwayne Stony Rocky."

"Amazing," you continued to laugh, Tendou watching you with a huge smile. He felt a sense of accomplishment from making you, and specifically you, laugh.

"You look pretty when you're smiling, but you look even prettier when you're laughing," Tendou complimented after you calmed down from your miniature laughing attack.

"Thanks, Lil Red," you mumbled, butterflies fluttering around in your stomach from the small compliment. You were almost sure he thought nothing of when he said it, but it still made you all bubbly on the inside.

In truth however, Tendou was extremely nervous to say that. In any other circumstance with telling a girl something like that, he would've just moved on with his day like nothing happened. You for some reason, made him super jittery, and he always looked forward to seeing you.

Satori Tendou had a crush on y/n l/n wether he knew it or not, which he did. He didn't know how you felt about him though, so he was cautious when giving compliments.

"Your ride has arrived!" Tendou chirped once seeing the bus the two of you were taking turn the corner and came into view of the street you were on.

"Ah, yes," you nodded, Tendou looking away from the bus and over at you, "The fanciest form of transportation. The bus in which I ride to a daycare from Mondays to Fridays."

Tendou chuckled at this, his attention going back to the bus when he heard the screech from the rubber of the tires running against the ground after the bus driver had hit the breaks. The big glass doors of the mostly blue bus opened, the bus driver waiting for you to get on.

You and Tendou paid the person the amount of money you needed to ride the bus, making sure not to give extra since the daycare was the provider of your money for the transportation. You sat down in a seat closer to the back, Tendou taking the seat right next to you.

Normally, you and Tendou would be engaging in conversations ranging from manga comparisons to your favorite foods while sitting on the bus. Today however, there were other people who were all staying silent. Tendou knew you didn't like talking if things were silent, so instead he started playing a game of rock, paper, scissors with you.

Everything was quiet for the most part, Tendou letting out small grunts of frustration when he lost a round of the silent game you were playing. He would also let out small noises of celebration when he won a round. He was just doing him, and being cute like always.

Anyways!

Eventually, you arrived at your stop. Both you and Tendou grabbed your bags before standing up and exiting the bus.

"Good bye!" Tendou waved to the bus driver as the person shut the door to the mode of transportation. "Rude. Could've at least said it back."

You laughed at what Tendou said, "I'm sure they were just in a hurry. Don't mind them when you have me!"

Tendou smiled at what you said, nodding his head, "Right you are!"

The two of you started walking the rest of the way to the Daycare, arriving in under five minutes. It would've been faster and taken much less time, but Tendou insisted on stopping for ten seconds at every stop sign, and the red signs were at every corner you had to turn. And let's just say you had to take many turns until you got to the daycare.

"Tendou, I can literally see the daycare right in front of us, and there are no cars coming," you sighed, pinching the bridge of your nose as you had found yourself at yet another stop sign. "Do we really need to make another stop?"

"Of course we do!" Tendou replied, dramatically throwing his arms in the air, "We'd be breaking the law if we didn't!"

"Tendou, that only applies when you're driving a car," you hissed, "And even then, you're only supposed to stop for three seconds!"

"Mmmm," Tendou hummed, finally starting to move again after he had counted the ten seconds in his head, "Well too late to take it back now. We've already made it to the daycare!"

"I am never walking with you again," you sighed while walking through the door the red head had been holding open for you.

"That's what you think," Tendou retorted, walking through the door after you.
