"Alright everyone! Good practice today! See y'all this Friday on game day!" Coach Schlatt called out.

The team smiled and walked off to the locker room, most made silly jokes and banter on the short walk there.

Y/n turned to opposite way from the boys and into the girls locker room.

She pulled her helmet off to breath a bit better, letting a sigh out as she did so. She popped a small stick of gum in her mouth, allowing herself to calm down a bit more. Coach S (as she liked to call him) was particularly rough today.

But then again, they were playing their rivals this Friday.

Who were the SMP Academy's biggest rival you might ask?

Only L'manburg High, one of the best schools in their district.

They weren't the most well off school, but they sure packed a punch. They were often seen as the underdogs in the battle, causing widespread sympathy from the crowd and refs.

Y/n had never really met anyone from Manburg high, the only friend she had there was Wilbur, and he's about to graduate anyways. Plus, she hadn't even seen him in years so she wouldn't exactly call him a familiar face.

The reason she hadn't really met anyone else was because of the team itself. Coach Schlatt banned them from dating or even talking to any of the members of the rival school.

Y/n knew the rule was almost solely about her. The rest of the team had partners, and she was the only one who wasn't seeing someone when the rule was made.

But, that didn't bother her. She already had to deal with a bunch of sweat football boys on a daily basis, why would she want to date one?

"Hey, little firecracker! George, Dream, Punz and I are gonna go hangout for a bit, wanna come?"

Y/n giggled at the nickname Sapnap had so affectionately given her.

"'Corse Sap! I'll be out in a minute!"

"Great! And oh, don't tell Coach!"

Y/n cocked an eyebrow in confusion. Don't tell Coach? Why would she tell Coach?

Oh well, guess she'd had to find out.

The group all piled into Dreams mom's SUV, Dream driving with y/n in the passenger seat, and Punz, Sapnap, and George all pushed in the back.

"Why did y/n get the front? That's not fair!" George cried six minutes into the ride.

"Because you guys stink, and Dream loves me more!" Y/n replied back.

George only scoffed and the two other boys rolled their eyes at him.

"So, y/n. Speaking of love..." Punz started.

"NO!" The girl shouted, not wanting Punz to rile up Sapnap and Dream.

"Awww is little firecracker scared?" Sapnap mused.

Dream let out his signature wheeze as he drove, keeping his eyes on the road, thankfully.

Y/n scoffed out the boys. "No, I just don't want to talk about it."

George giggled as the other two boys in the back turned to look at each other, both nodding.

"Oh come on, y/n! We know you have to like someone!"

Y/n shook her head, she didn't have anyone and they knew that. The boys only wanted to mess with her for a bit.

The pestering continued for around 10 more minutes, only stopping when Dream pulled up to an abandoned lot.

"Alright, we're here."

Dream had vaguely explain earlier that he had to meet some friends to talk about some things. Y/n knew this excuse was bs, but she wasn't going to refuse the free ice cream Dream had promised her earlier.

The lot had about two other cars parked, a green field overlooking a small cliff came into view. The sun was barley peaking over the horizon line as the remnants of light lit up the broken picnic tables in the grass.

The group stepped out of the car, only to be met by another group of five.

Y/n looked at all of the faces, studying each one carefully.

The first, and shortest. He had tossed brown hair with bright green eyes. He wore a large green shirt, it seemed to be barley hanging on to his small frame. A warm smile was adorned on his face. His broken green converse sat muddled with sharpie scribbles and plenty of dirt. Bandaid littered his legs as well as plenty of bruises.

The next boy, he was much taller than the last. He had scruffy blonde hair, some of it barely covered his soft blue eyes. A small scratch sat on his right cheek and a blue bandaid on his chin. He had a white shirt with red sleeves that fit him well. His khaki shorts showed of his beat up knees, as well as show of his equally beat up red converse shoes.

From the other side, a boy about the height of the last one stood. Although they were both tall, this one has a different vibe to him. He seemed, more powerful? Was powerful the right word? Possibly.

He had springs of brown curls, with equally as chocolate brown eyes to match. He wore a long overcoat with a bright yellow shirt peaking through. A beanie adorned his head while a long pair of black slacks and messy black shoes covered his bottom half. He reminded her a lot of her childhood friend, but she wouldn't outright say it was him in fear of embarrassment.

To the curly brunettes left, a boy about the size of the first on stood. Ginger hair covered his forehead in a wavy array. White streaks could be seen in the front. He had on a zipped up leather jacket with matching pants. He had patches going up and down the sleeves, the colors and patterns matched his much cleaner sneakers.

The final boy, who stood in the middle, looked scary to be honest. He was tall, like super tall. A mop of straight pink hair was pulled back into a sleek ponytail. He had on a button up white shirt and a pair of red pants. His eyes were a weird chestnut red shade. Y/n could tell he was like a leader to the rest of the boys from the way the all stood a solid inch behind him.

"Ah, Dream. Good to see you. I see you brought some little friends with you?" The pink one said, same traces of venom laced in his deep, monotone voice.

Pinky looked at all of them, just as Y/n had looked at all of them. His sunburnt colored eyes traced over each of them, his crooked smile never faltering for a second.

"Good for you to bring along Mushroom bitch, I though he would've been asleep." The boy spot out.

George scoffed, shoving his hands into his pockets in annoyance.

"Ah and Mr. Hothead himself, how's the hand healing? After that kind of a punch I would rather it have been broken if it were me."

Sapnap gave the man any angry look, he flexed his muscles a tad bit tighter in retaliation.
