So this is what he was brought to following her himself. Dabi sighed as he watched the friend leave the girl's home looking broken. He grunted looking up at the house. Guess she wasn't feeling too well either. His face was in a in a constant frown anyway to keep most away, but this frown was very genuine. He had been following her weeks before Shigaraki found her and he was pissed.
Little Amara. His childhood friend grown up. He straightened as he saw her come out of the door. He moaned softly as he looked her over. She really filled out those clothes. Not the same little bean pole that came over to his family's home everyday. That was how he found her. Coming out of his former home with his youngest brother.
He had often stalked his home waiting for the right moment to strike at them for their betrayal. He wondered what they would do if they saw him now. She was laughing at something Shoto had said though he didn't look amused. He knew it was his best friend the moment he looked into her eyes, but she didn't see him.
He made sure to keep out of sight as followed them back to Shoto's school. He watched her day in and day out and learned her patterns. He should have known something was up when he saw Shigaraki following her as well.
She was grumbling as she started walking tucking her keys in to her pockets. He watched as she huffed before following her. He tilted his head as she sighed. She looked just as sad and miserable as Shigaraki. He snarled under his breath as he kept following her.
Where was she going? It wasn't a school day. He watched as she turned in to a restaurant and sit next a window staring out of it. She pulled out her phone and called someone talking for a while before she stood and left again.
It was times like this that he wished he had Toga's quirk and shape shift into someone trustworthy. He sighed as he kept after her. There was no other way. He needed to do something. He could only hope she would forgive him. He sighed as he looked down at his feet a moment before looking back up. He blinked and looked around. He lost her. Shit.
He started walking quickly trying to not be noticed while he searched. If he couldn't find her then maybe he would try again the next day. He cursed as he turned a corner, and a black boot entered his field of vision. Son of a bitch it was going to be a long day.
She felt him before she actually saw the shadow that was tailing her. It was the same feeling she had for weeks before the crashed in to Tomura and after she met him, she assumed it was him. She turned her head and scanned the area. It wasn't Tomura. She wasn't sure who it was. But she had seen that shadow before.
She frowned and kept walking checking back every now and then to see if he was really following her. And he was still there. The next moment he was distracted, and she took off down an alleyway and waited.
She heard him. His grumbling. His anger. She felt his presence and knew exactly when to lash out. She brought her foot up and grunted with pleasure as it connected with flesh. Dabi stumbled back slightly before he felt himself get pulled into the alley and kicked again.
He tumbled to the ground as she moved over to him to kick him more. "Why the fuck are you following me?"
She shouted as she lifted her foot. He reached out quickly grabbing her slamming her to the ground. He cursed internally. Shigaraki was going to be pissed but he wasn't going down without a fight.
He encased his hands in his bright blue flames and struck at her. She moved quickly, rolling to the side barely avoiding the scorching punch. She heard a groan and wasn't sure if it was her or him as she jumped back up and swung her foot out in a round house.
Big mistake. He caught her foot with his hands and turned up the heat making her cry out in pain before slamming her into the brick wall of the building. "I don't want to do this Amara." He shouted.
But she didn't hear him as her head banged against the wall. "You fucking..."
Her words cut off as her vision blurred and she stumbled slightly. She shook her head to try and clear it before she rushed at him. He cursed again as he put his hand out to shoot flames at her. She dodged and came back up slapping his arm away before punching him in the nose. "You son of a bitch!"
He was fed up. He should have known he wouldn't be able to talk to her without a battle but he didn't think it was going to be that hard. He grabbed her face and headbutted her before slamming her into the ground knocking her out. He panted as he sat next to her and noticed the blood. "Fucking woman is going to be the death of me."
He checked her head discovering a small gash. Not one big enough to cause alarm but big enough to cause pain. She was going to have a killer headache when she woke. But the big question is what was he going to do with her now?
