Josie pov-

We both got out the room and head back downstairs to the office after two hours to only see everybody in the office looking at one book.

"What are yall looking at in that big book?" i asked catching all their attention.

"Since the dispute between you and your father and hope bringing out her wold side and lunch thing. I started investigating and i think i found a answer" freya said.

"Then speak" Elijah said.

"After reading many books about ancient wolves and relationships. Apparently in ancient times a wolf name William had only one possible partner, his partner received name mate or luna, which means partner to wolves. Through passing times mates are very rare for wolf even for alpha" freya said.

"What does all that mean" hope said looking into the book

"True love" keelin said pointing to the book.

"Being mates is something that can only happen between two wolves, however sometimes two souls are destined to be together regardless their wolf or not. We call a bond. Unties the couple allowing them recognize each other regardless , this creates certain things that can be noticed: 1. Jealousy, the wolf desire to mark his partner and know that she belongs to him
2. They will need to be close to each other at all times
3. The blood one will heal the other
4.hearts will be in tune with each other
5.wolf will leave scent on partner"

"Damn i noticed 4 things except blood one but thats fine" hope said.

"Yall were made for each other but took 17 years for you see that Hope and Josie. Still read on"

Hope returned her gaze to the book and continued

"To complete the mates bond, the wolf must bite its partner during mating process, turning it into your equal. After the process is complete, its bond will intensify adding more characteristics to the bond:
1. They will feel each other emotions at all time
2.will share thoughts, and  memories, allowing themselves enter the other's mind
3. They will always find each other no matter what place in the world other is"

"I heard about mates, but i thought they were just legends...they dont exist today" keelin said

Hope was the love lf my life and im so happy about it, but i had to admit that the thought of gain her power and transforming to wolf is scary. I was speechless until dad said something.

"I need a drink" dad said walking out the office with lizzie.

"Can we just get this mating thing over with?" I asked hope

Yeah, all i need bite you while we have sex right?" hope said

"NO WAY, I WILL NOT ALLOW IT" dad said getting up from his chair furious

One moment to the next everyone arguing with each other weather we should complete the bond or not while I and hope just watch. Im fed up with my dad trying control everything.

"STOP! THIS IS MINE AND HOPE Choice NOT YOURS" i said pointing to my dad and everyone went silent

"You are just teenagers, they cant decide something like this" he said

"With all due respect Alaric, we will be 18 but you know we been through to much shit, things no normal teenager goes through. We are capable of deciding our future together, i love Josie and whatever we decide you should respect or not i don't care" Hope said taking my hand leading me out the office

Hope pov-

I took Josie hand and we started going to the woods in complete silence, we reached our secret place we sat on edge of waterfall looking ahead, until I decided to speak.

"Love, are you okay with everything?"

"Yes, its just allot to process right now" she said playing with her fingers

"I know but i want know what tou want" i said

"I love you and nothing will change. If your questions is if i want complete the bond...answer is yes, i want to do it" she said.

"But you turn into wolf like me you sure you want this"

"Yes i am but, this dosent depend on me do you want to have a mate? A life partner right now?"

"Of course i want to, i love you..forever and forever until end of time im ready" i said i think i just made vow already.

"Forever and ever my love, i promise until the end of time and maybe after too" she said with a smile 

"You know? Right now i have urge but you and make you mines right now hearing you say that"

"Of course you do i just vowed always be with you for life and plus you can bite me at night when were alone" she said giving me a kiss

My wolf is happy being around her
