Dandy had been acting suspiciously ever since the little incident in the dining room. I knew that he was finalising his plans of revenge against Jimmy and plotting brutal murders tended to bring out a cockier side of him, but he seemed to have reached a whole new level of confidence. Every time we were in the same room a mischievous smirk would be plastered on his face. It was clear that he had gained a substantial amount of dominance since my 'punishment'. His new goal was to constantly try to make me feel as flustered as possible and then saunter off, leaving me craving more from him.
Not long after lunch Dandy stood up dramatically, announcing that he had some important business to attend to: My heart immediately began to race inside my chest as I knew that this meant he was finally going to deal with Jimmy. All I did was nod as he picked up a mysterious bag that I hadn't seen before and then left the manor.
I stayed glued in my seat for quite a while after he'd gone, just staring at the long table in front of me that was nowhere near as polished as it used to be when Dora was still around. I used to believe that keeping the tent at the freakshow clean was a challenge, but it was nothin compared to the vast area that was the Mott mansion.
Eventually I was able to drag myself out of the plush chair that I had practically sunk into. Although procrastination was slowly becoming a consistent habit of mine I had to at least get something done just to keep my mind off of whatever was happening between Dandy and Jimmy. I groaned lazily before heading to the kitchen cupboard to get out the cleaning supplies.
Within a few hours I had made the kitchen and the dining room spotless. There was still
much more that needed to be done but my aching arms told me that it was time to take a
much needed break. After pouring myself a refreshing glass of water I hopped onto the kitchen counter and sighed contently. However, it didn't take long for my thought to wonder and soon my head was spinning with worry and guilt. I should've turned Jimmy away when he was standing at our front door step. I was determined to prove to Dandy that I could still stand up for myself and he didn't have complete control over everything I did, but in doing so I had most likely cost Jimmy everything.
My mind wandered further as I began to stress myself out with the ideas of Dandy's revenge against Jimmy. I hadn't got much from his conversation with the detective the previous day, other than the fact that Jimmy had become a raging alcoholic. Dandy's imagination was certainly a vivid one and with the system of justice covering his tracks the possibilities for him were practically endless.
Just as I thought that my head was about to spiral out of control with overthinking the sound of the front door swinging open filled my ears. I dashed out to the hallway and was met with a blood-covered Dandy. His buttoned shirt that was originally a pristine shade of white had become soaked in sticky, red blood. His trousers and blazer were damaged beyond repair and his hair was all over the place, still shining from the immense amount of gel he used to slick it back.
"Dandy! What the hell did you do?" I exclaimed in disgust.
"I already told you that I had to get my revenge against Lobster Boy." He replied wearing a smug grin on his face.
"Stop calling him that! You promised you weren't going to kill him." I almost screamed.
"And I stuck to my word. He has been left completely unharmed." Dandy nodded his head cockily.
"W-Well ... whose blood is that then?" I gulped audibly.
"Some lovely ladies I killed earlier today." He proudly announced.
"Why on earth would to do that? Did you even know them, Dandy?"
"Of course I didn't." He answered, sounding as though he thought I was dumb. "I didn't kill them because of something they did to me. I just had to kill them."
"So you just murdered them for your own sick pleasure?" I spat.
"I won't lie to you. I did enjoy it, but that isn't why I killed them." Dandy assured me.
"Then why did you do it?" At this point I was practically begging for an answer.
"I'm sure you'll find out soon enough. Meanwhile, I need to go and get myself cleaned up." He sauntered off, still with several innocent women's bodily fluids dripping off of him.
I stood in a daze for a moment, still shocked from the events that had recently played out. I eventually managed to set my head straight and realised that Dandy had left behind a trail of icky blood that desperately needed cleaning up. I rolled my eyes and shuddered, hating the mess of it all, but I knew that it had to be cleaned up.
*TIME SKIP*
I had just finished setting up the table for breakfast when I heard a knock at the door. I hadn't been met with a single visitor ever since I moved in with Dandy and now all of a sudden everyone was stopping by.
A newspaper was thrust in my direction as soon as I opened the front door. I took it in my hand gratefully, sending a polite smile to the postman who sent a quick one in my direction in return before rushing off to finish his daily round.
I peered down at the front page and glanced at the appalling title.
'TUPPERWARE PARTY MASSACRE'
Everything began to make sense as I skimmed through the article. Jimmy had been charged with each of the murders and was almost definitely going to be spending the rest of his life in prison. I quickly dried the tears that were gathering in my eyes as I heard Dandy's familiar footsteps approaching.
"You've heard the news then." He broke the ice cold silence.
"You just ruined Jimmy's life." I growled.
"I did what needed to be done." Dandy firmly corrected.
