Owazaka paced back and forth in his makeshift throne room, stroking his beard thoughtfully. "The ritual is coming along nicely, Maika feels betrayed and Juno's heart is broken by her 'husband'. " Iowatae knocked on the door, holding a scroll. "Come in" Owazaka said while sitting in his chair. Iowatae opened the door and walked in, holding the scroll behind his back. "Leader, we have a problem." Owazaka leaned back in his chair, thought for a minute, then leaned forward. "What kind of problem is it Iowatae" Iowetae gulped and started slowly making his way towards the door. "Um you know your son?" Owazaka raised an eyebrow, starting to glare at Iowatae. "Get on with it." Iowatae dropped to his knees and opened the scroll. 'Father, i cannot continue to do this anymore, Maika has opened my eyes to the errors of your ways and i have decided to let her go free. I know this place inside and out so check all you want, she and i are gone, forever and i will tell the other tribes of your cruel and sadistic ways.' -Kanjiro. Owazaka snatched the scroll from Iowatae's shaking hands, punched him with such force that caused Iowatae to fly and smash into the wall, causing several paintings to fall and miss Iowatae by mere inches. Owazaka also ripped the scroll in a rage, yelling. Guards ran into the room. "Sir are you ok?" One of the guards helped up Iowatae and carried him out of the room. Owazaka threw away the bits of scroll and looks at one of the guards. "My son, if i should even call him that anymore has escaped with the younger girl, but it looks like her mother is still here. Go find the mom and bring her here, and i think he's going where i think he's going, my son should be in cave in the north forest with the girl." The guards nodded went out of the room. Owazaka smiled evilly and sat in his chair, flipping through a book. "All will go as planned, no matter what."

Kanjiro patted Maika's head as she slept. "This is one fragile girl and i have broken her trust over and over." Maika slowly woke up and looked up at him. "Are.....we safe?" Kanjiro nodded and kissed her forehead. Kanjiro himself didn't know if they were safe or not, knowing his father, Owazaka might have sent his guards or his most elite guards after them. Kanjiro looked around before standing up and tending to the fire. Maika sat up and stretched, looking at Kanjiro. She didn't fully trust him just because he rescued her. He stretched and looked back at Maika with light grey eyes that made her shiver and look away.

Juno feared the worst for her daughter. When she heard that Maika was missing, she started to cry but was soon silenced by the hard stinging slap of the guard. "Stop crying, your daughter will be found and so will the traitorous son. They will be severely punished for hindering the plan." Juno spit on his face and he pulled his hand back for a slap. "Stop." Owazaka held a firm grip on his arm and glared at Juno. "She won't have the fight in her much longer after her daughter is found." Juno scooted back as Owazaka wrapped a hand around her throat and lifted her with one hand. Juno gasped for air and tried kicking at him but her vision was fading and her face was turning a light blue. The guard nudged Owazaka and he dropped her, letting her fall to her knees and cough, gasping for air. "See, all you have to do is let them learn their lesson and they dont fight back." Juno struggled to sit up on her knees and stared at Owazaka with startling blue eyes. "Owazaka......i curse your bloodline for a thousand years and many more." Owazaka stepped back and whispered to the guard, grabbing the chains and moving her to another room down the hall. Juno blinked and her eyes returned to her light brown ones. She cackled and giggles as if she had finally lost her mind.
