After cheer practice I walked to the gym to see the basketball boys practicing. I was watching for one person in particular. Andrew. Number 33 and tallest boy on the team and in the whole school. I sat in the bleachers and waited until they were done. When Andrew walked out of the locker rooms with Tyson and Jacob I walked down and smiled at all of them.
"Hey guys!" I said cheerfully.
"Hey Katelyn." Tyson and Andrew said. But Jacob walked up to me and put his arm around me.
"What's up babe?"
"Nothing much. But it'll never happen your my brothers best friend. Sorry."
"It was worth a shot."
"Yeah. But Andrew can I talk to you for a second? Alone?"
"Sure! I'll see you guys later." He said giving them 'bro hugs'.
We all gave hugs and everything and they finally left. Andrew and I walked outside and I was still in my cheer outfit because my friends thought it would be funny to run off with my clothes.
"So Andrew I have a question."
"Yes ma'am?"
"Okay. Can I have your number?" I asked quickly.
"Sure ya can!"
"Okay? That was a lot easier than I expected." I said handing him my iPhone 5.
"Why would it be hard?" He asked typing in his number.
"Well I thought you would say no and not want to talk to me anymore."
"Its fine."
"Okay. So how have you..." I got cut off by rain start pouring down. "Really?! Today?!"
"Here I'll take you home." Andrew said putting his jacket over my shoulders and running towards his car.
Once we got in we both started laughing uncontrollably.
"That would've been more fun if I didn't have my cheer uniform on."
"Yeah. What happened anyway?"
"My friends thought it would be funny to take my clothes and leave."
"Wow."
"Yeah. Not fun. But thanks for the ride Andrew see you Monday." I said before kissing his cheek and getting out.
"Bye! And make sure you text me!"
"I will. Bye."
Then he drove off.
