I can’t tell y’all how long I wanted to do this. I’ve mentioned a few times that Diandra and Marinette have been friends for a long time, so I wanted to show a little of their friendship when they were younger.
In this clip, they’re about nine. Marinette had started sewing already and Diandra had already started trying to make jewelry. Enjoy!

3'rd Person P.O.V, Diandra's House
  Marinette’s coming over! Little Diandra bounced around her room, eager to see her friend.

  It’s been three whole days since they’d seen each other! She was excited.

Diandra constantly switched from bouncing like a ball to spinning in a circle. When she finally grew tired, she sat down on her bed, her face slightly flushed.

  Nine-year-old Diandra wasn’t much different from her thirteen-year-old self. Her dirty blonde hair hung loosely around her shoulders, not past. Her face was more round and child-like.

  The little girl’s main outfit was a teal shirt with small white feathers seemingly floating around in the fabric, a white fuzzy jacket, a teal knee-length skirt with white pom poms sewn to the bottom (courtesy of Marinette), and teal sneakers.

  Around this time, Diandra had started developing the small but noticeable playful glint in her eye and the crooked smile she was known for, which was emphasized at the time with a missing tooth.

  “Diandra! Marinette’s here!” Her mom called from the living room on the lower floor.

  Diandra quickly looked around her room, a thought repeating itself: Gotta look cool. Gotta look cool. Gotta look cool. Gotta look cool.

  After a second, she decided on the hammock chair swing she and Marinette had made. It was just a bunch of string-like rope woven loosely together to create a chair. It took weeks.

  Diandra bolted over to it and plopped down. Big mistake.

  Little Marintette walked down the hallway to her best friend’s room, pausing at the door when she heard a yelp from inside. She opened the door and immediately busted out laughing at what she saw.

  Diandra had somehow gotten tangled in the hanging chair. She was partially hanging from the bottom of it, her arms and legs tangled up in it and a part of it behind her neck and wrapped around her body, keeping her entangled above the ground.

  Diandra pouted slightly at her friend’s reaction.

  “Marinette!” She whined. “Stop laughing and help me!”

  Marinette was too deep in laughter to hear her friend’s words, but she did catch the next ones: “Seriously! I’m not a spider!”

~~~
I, for one, actually liked this little clip. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, so I finally did it! I wanted to show a little bit of Diandra and Marinette from before the show, when they were little.
  If anyone wants any more clips of Little Marinette and Little Diandra or has any ideas, please don’t hesitate to comment!
