Chapter 2 : "Weirdos" and stars

Bakugos Pov

"...W-What-? Why does that matter-.." I said hesitantly, I'd be lying if I wasnt at least a bit on edge. "I want to know your name." Said the half an half man. This guy is out of his mind if he thinks im gonna tell him what my name is, I thought, giving him a cautious expression. "Whats it to you.." I quickly and quietly asked. Just as the half an half boy was about to speak, A loud "TODOROKI-" came from a green headed boy, running towards us. "TODOROKI DONT JUST RUN OFF LIKE THAT YOU ALMOST GOT ME IN TR-" The greenette stopped talking after he saw me, Almost like he froze.. 

The green boy was only a little shorter than half an half, They were both super fucking tall. He was on the tanner side, His forest green eyes bright, and sparkled. His hair was a curly mess, Different shades in the light. His body was muscular, but slim as well, His freckles were dark and he wore a smile- well.. until he looked at me. Then his smile dropped to a serious face. He turned and whispered to the half an half guy. They kept glancing at me while whispering, I tried my best to ignore those idiots by tugging at my wrist which half n half was still holding. Damn he was strong though.

Once they finished their top secret whispering session they both turned to me, I froze and looked back at them. The green boy smiled bright and stuck out his hand. "Hi! Im Izuku! This is my coworker, Shoto-". He beamed, He looked excited. "... Bakugo..-" I said hesitantly, taking his hand as Shoto let go of me. You know what- No. His name is HalfnHalf now. 

"Glad we could meet! Im so sorry about Shoto here- Hes a bit of a mess when he sees someone new, He wanted to ask if you'd like to meet up, like all of us and talk!" Izuku spoke with such enthusiasm, It annoyed me. "No thanks. I dont meet up with strangers I dont know." I barked, rubbing my wrist, slinging the bag over my shoulder and turning on my heel, leaving for my office. "I told you." Spoke the cold, taller male.

 As I entered the meeting room, Thats the last thing I heard. Everyone in the room was staring at me. I looked at all of them and quickly said "What're you looking at." to which they all turned back to what they were doing, I got into my seat and the boss continued to speak, giving me a disappointed look.

Once the meeting had ended, everyone else had already left and I was sitting there with the boss trying to get the coffee out of my white shirt. "Shit.." I whispered quietly, getting agitated. The boss glanced over at me. "Looks like a rough spill, You do that?". I turned and glared at him, "No I didnt fucking do this. I ran into some weirdos as I was passing to get here on time. They took fucking forever because they whispered to each other for ages. NOT TO MENTION HELD ME IN PLACE BY MY FUCKING WRIST." I shouted. "Woah woah- Calm down kitty. I apologize, Ill let you off this time since I and everyone saw it as it made quite the commotion. But next time, I wont hesitate to fire you."

"Yes boss..." I grumbled, Gathering my stuff and leaving to go to my office.

It was late again. Almost midnight, Everyone left hours ago. I couldnt help but stay after to make up for the lost time from this morning, and all the stuff I hadnt finished from past weeks. Before you ask, Im not a fucking lazy ass. I was sick 6 weeks ago and still not caught up from it. Stupid as fuck I know. Around 1:27am I finally decided to pack up as it had been a long day. As tired as I was, I took the long way to my house. I dont really like sleeping anymore, I used to go to bed at 8pm every night, But- Now Ive realized how much I miss out on while I was asleep so I changed. Not sure if it was a good one but I changed. I put on my headphones once again, Shuffling my playlist for late night walks. There were no cars, The lamps were dim, Alleyways dark, Sidewalks empty. It was like I was the last person alive in this untouched world. Like everyone just disappeared, Not that I would mind much.

I sighed, keeping my eyes on the sky, the stars got more and more visible the more out of town I got, I couldnt help but wonder and gaze at them, Ive always liked stars. They're calming to say the least. Eventually I made my way to a near by park, Sitting down on the old rusty bench. 

"Cant say I didnt miss this huh.. Old late night walks during highschool-"

I whispered to myself, leaning back into the bench, slightly slumped over my legs straight out, staring up. 

"I really wish, I had someone. I wish I wasnt alone."

I spoke quietly with even breaths, Talking to myself. I needed this time away from people, I needed my own time sometimes.

"Kirishima has Denki, And Denki has Kirishima, And I dont have anyone near, I used to like Shittyhair.. Kinda funny how everything plays out in the end."

I sighed again, Taking in the cold evening air. I checked my phone, Seeing the time being 2:50 and my phone battery almost dead. I took one final deep breath, Pushing back any loose feelings which wont be needed anytime soon. I stood up and closed my eyes, opening after a minute or so and walking back home. Exhausted. I took in the scenery on my way back, looking at the flowers slowly wither as winter was coming. The leaves falling, The crunch, The colors, pumpkin trash bags, The ads for pumpkin spice flavored items. At this point I had one headphone on and the other one off, just listening for any noise, Stepping on leaves for the crunch. All I could hear was the tapping of my shoes on this cold, calm night. I stopped in my tracks to listen for any bugs or wolves howling so close to the outskirts of town.

The only problem, Was that the footsteps didnt stop.

Sorry not sorry for the cliff hanger! I probably would've kept going and made it longer but I just couldnt resist the cliff hanger <3
