Edmund's POV

Caspian gave Lucy, Eustace, and me towels, so that we don't freeze. Eustace started to freak out while everyone looked at him as if he's crazy, which he is.

"Looks like we almost have everyone back!" Caspian announced.

"Peter and Susan are here?" Lucy questioned with excitement.

"No, but Edmund's lover is."

I looked up at him and my eyes grew wide.

"Ex-lover," Lucy said.

"Shut up, Lucy. Where is she?" I questioned.

Caspian pointed towards a group of people and a few of them step to the side. There she was, all soaking wet just like the rest of us. I looked into those green eyes that I loved to look at when she opens them after a good night's sleep. However, they were filled with fear and panic, soon she pushed a couple of crew members out of her way and disappeared.

I quickly dropped the towel and rushed towards the direction she was heading. I caught a glimpse of her hair, "Adrianna!" I shouted as I got closer to her. She quickly made a sharp left turn into a room, slammed the door shut, and locked it. "Adrianna!" I knocked on the wooden door as I heard her spine collide with the door. "Please open the door," I whined as I kept knocking on it.

Soon after I heard her get up from the ground and slowly unlocked the door. She opened it slightly so that only her head can be seen, "I-I-I" she stuttered.

"Just let me in," I softened my voice.

Adri nodded her head and opened the door a little bit more before she took my arm and pulled me and closing the door once again. She was changed into a new pair of trousers that were dark brown and she was wearing a new blouse that was a beige color.

"God it felt like I haven't seen you in forever!" I said.

"Edmund-" she started, her voice was softer than usual and she was looking down at her feet, "why didn't time stop for you?"

I came closer to her and took her hand in mine, "what do you mean?"

"Last time I saw you was earlier today. Well for me it was earlier today, but when I came to Narnia, Caspian had told me that time changed quickly and a year had passed already. Last time we were here, time stopped back at home."

"This can't be good. Lucy and I were worried about you because you weren't responding to any of our letters. And I know that we broke up but at times I needed to talk to somebody and you were the easiest person I could talk to."

She pulled me closer to her, her arms wrapped around my waist and her head leaned against my chest. I placed my hand on her cheek and felt a tear on my thumb. "Hey, it's going to be okay. We're together again, you have Lucy who is the life of the party and we have Eustace..."

"What the hell is a Eustace," she laughed and looked up at me.

"My cousin," I responded with a big smile on my face. She kept her gaze on me. Her eyes were softer than before but also red, "how long have you been crying?" I asked, placing my forehead against her's like we always did.

"After I left your place I met up with an old friend and had coffee, but when I got back at my place my eyes were literally pouring out the ocean."

"Then you ended up in a literal ocean," I added with a few laughs coming out.

"Yeah," she said as she pulled away from the hug and cleared her throat. "We better get back to Caspian or else he would have the whole crew looking for us."

"I don't think Caspian would really care as long as someones keeping an eye on Eustace." I walked towards her but she took a few steps back until her spine touched the wooden wall.

"Edmund what are you doing," she said as I leaned into a kiss.

Instead of our lips colliding together, her palm collided with my cheek as she slapped me.

"What was that for!" I exclaimed. She pushed me out of the way and marched towards the door.

"Edmund, we're not together anymore," she hissed and left the room.

Adrianna's POV

Alright, I was a bit harsh on Edmund, but he deserved it! Why did he deserve it? I have no clue if I'm going to be honest. I think I slapped him was because I freaked out about kissing him even though I kissed him today already. Well, I kissed him today, but he kissed me a year ago. That reminded me to go ask Caspian a question.

I quickly walked around the wooden ship, pushing people out of my way to find him. As I was looking at eye level, I bumped into something below my eye level.

"Watch we're going!" The boy exclaimed.

"No need for the attitude," I snapped back.

"Say's the one giving attitude!" He hissed.

I glared at him, "at least my eyebrows aren't a hundred kilometers away from my brow bone."

"You listen here, Lady—"

"It's Adrianna to you," I cut him off.

His eyes softened and he lowered his hand, "so you must be the one Edmund's crying about every night. You're a bit out of his league, but the perfect woman for me," he smirked.

"Oh please do not have sexual fantasies about me," I said and pushed him out of my way.

"Well, I'm free right now if you would like to go on a date!" The boy came running to me, "the name's Eustace. Call me when you're ready, Adrianna."

"It's Princess Adrianna to you," Caspian came for the rescue, his hand slipped across my waist.

"For the record, I was princess for about four hours," I added and looked up at Caspian who was trying not to laugh at my comment.

Eustace huffed and walked aggressively in the opposite direction. Caspian let go of my waist and let out a few laughs, "can't believe he's related to the Pevensie's. Thankfully he's not related to you because that would be even more shocking and either one of you would have to be adopted."

I laughed and ran my fingers through my hair. "Thank you for rescuing me from a hormonal pre-pubescent boy."

"Of course, so I'm guessing you wanted to talk to me because you were rushing through the crowd of people."

I nodded.

"Well how about we all talk in my room."

"When you say we, do you mean Edmund and Lucy as well?"

"Yes," he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and guided me towards his room.

When he opened the door, Edmund was still there flustered from my actions earlier. Lucy came in soon after and Caspian walked to a chest that was hidden underneath his bed.

"Since you guys are here, I think you would want these back," Caspian pulled out Lucy's dagger and handed it to her. "I saved this for you," Caspian handed a very old flashlight which Edmund called a torch. "And lastly," he pulled out two swords, Edmund's and Peter's. "Which one would you like, Edmund."

"Wait—" I cut Caspian and Edmund off, "where's mine?"

"You never had a sword, Adrianna," Edmund responded and the rest of them nodded.

"The fuck do you mean I never had one? Mine was all black, even the blade. It had silver carvings on the handle and a sharper point that yours and Peter's." They all looked at me as if I speaking in a foreign language. I kneeled near the chest and saw that it was empty, "how is this possible?" I whispered to myself.

"You only used your powers," Edmund said as he kneeled beside me.

I shot up from the ground, "No I didn't! I had a sword which I stabbed you in your stomach when I was cursed!" I yelled with frustration.

"You were never cursed... Are you feeling well Adrianna?" Lucy asked with a soft and worried tone.

I lifted my sleeve, "see! I was cursed by Jadis! She took her wand and injected venom into me and casted a spell. With the number of times I've used your healing potion, Lucy, it never healed! How do you guys not remember?" My eyes began to burn as tears started to fill them up.

Edmund's eyebrows twitched and he looked up at me, "I vaguely remember any of that, but I do have the fuzzy image of it."

"Or are you just saying that to make me feel better?" My voice cracked.

"Wait," Caspian pointed a finger in the air, "I might have a book about your history. Let me check if all of this is true," he hurried over to his desk.

"It is all true! Why don't you guys remember any of it?" I whined and curled my lips into a thin line.

Caspian pulled out a book titled, The History of The Forgotten Protector, "that's weird, the title used to be different." Caspian began to flip through the blank pages.

"Caspian what was the title before?" My lips quivered.

"The History of The Protector of Narnia and this was my favorite book about you and it was filled with words and drawings."

"Am I dreaming? Or does none of this make sense to anyone else." I sighed as a few tears left my bright green eyes.

Then, everything began to come together like a puzzle.

Oh my god, this can't be good. This can not be good. First, no one remembered me back at home when the Pevensie's left Narnia, and I was trapped in my literal soul. Then, time didn't stop when I came to Narnia and now everyone is forgetting who I am.

Oh my god.

Everyone's forgetting me.
