McGee's POV
I woke with hunger and a banging headache, I was greeted with sterile smell of hospitals. I glanced round at my surroundings, only to find Tony and Ziva in hospital beds as well. Holy crap what have I caused? What has Gibbs caused?
In the rather uncomfortable looking chair, slumped within was Gibbs fast asleep, aww he was cute when he sleeps
There was a knock on the door, and in walked Abby and Ducky, I really needed the company, now that everyone was out for the count. They rush over to me with concerned looks on their faces.
"Hello Timothy how are you feeling? Miss Scuito here has told me everything, you know I am surprised Jethro didn't tell you earlier" Ducky said. What does her mean he didn't tell me earlier, I was really becoming agitated now.
"I am fine Ducky. What did you mean by that?" I quizzed
"Well I assume that Jethro must've known for quite some time. Am I right Miss Scuito?" he asked Abby
"Negativo, he only knew about 2 days before he told you last week" hang on! Last week! How log had I been out for then? I felt all the questions just flooding out of me.
"What happened to Tony and Ziva? Has Gibbs been here the whole time? How long have I been out?-"
"Calm Timmy, Tony got shot in the leg, Ziva in the arm. You've been out for about 5 days and yes Gibbs has been here the whole time, can you tell by the smell, he cares for his team" she said it with so much thought and care I believed her... well maybe not about the whole Gibbs caring thing.
" OK, do Tony and Ziva know? Coz if they do I am never gonna live it down"
"We know McGeek" Tony said from the bed opposite
Then Gibbs and Ziva woke up
Gibbs POV
I woke to Tony confessing that he and Ziva knew. Great!
Tim looked at me with a look of understanding and relief, a look that I hadn't seen in a while. I knew that he was grateful for the fact that I had told them and he didn't have to but then...
"You would've found out sooner or later" he said bluntly, Tony flinched back looking as if he had been hurt, it nothing like what this is gonna be like... BAM!
"ow! Sorry boss" tony apologized
I looked at Tim in shock, how could he be like that to one of his friends, something in him has changed over these past few days and I don't know what it was? Mind you I was the same way when I found out that Shannon and Kelly were dead.
I couldn't stand it anymore and walked out of the room, I was disgusted at the way McGee had reacted, but all that was on my mind was COFFEE!
If only he knew the whole truth...
