~Rowan's POV~

Horns. Red eyes. A familiar face. I felt sick like I was going to hurl, I was shaking and felt uneasy, I felt hands on my shoulders. The hands were invisible? and there was no one there? no, I'm just imagining things, I felt tears stream down my face. eyes still glued to the human that I knew all too well. the hands were violently shaking my body now. I finally shot up, tears in my eyes as I saw my pink-haired friend with a face of curiosity leaning over my bed as she was at the foot of it, and then the blonde man with a look of worry on his face, hands on my shoulders before taking them off and hugging me. Hex took her hands from behind her back and straightened her back, good she already has a bad posture.

"Oi, love birds knock it off we have a mission to do," she said, looking at her nails with her elbow on her other hand and her other elbow tucked into her side. a blush grows on my face as Karl quickly let go, I saw him have a pink face. my mind quickly got back on topic, the blush faded but it was still visible.

"what mission?" I ask

"Mr. you know who spoke to me, he wants us to find the time anomaly that has happened, apparently it is stopping L'manburg from happening. he wants us to find out how this happened" Karl said face buried in his hands.

quickly I pulled my legs to the side of the bed and ran to Eret and Wil's room, thank the gods, or the time god if you say, they were both still there. I crept out of the room slowly and walked back to my room and grabbed some clothes from my chest. "sorry about that but I had to check something, now shoo for a second I need to change, when shall I meet you" I said while turning to face them.

"well most likely the past, meet us in, OO KARL CAN WE GO TO SIR BILLUMS!?!?" Hex blurted out.

Karl sighed, "yes but we can't go in, he might kill you-"

Hex cut him off, "YESSS, ROWAN MEET US THEN" Hex grabbed Karl's hand and ran through a portal, Karl waved slightly giving a small smile before becoming pixels. I thought back to the dreams, the horns, the eyes, everything reminded me of, him.

I shook it off, I got changed, and put on my time goggles, something they don't tell you in the time selection is that wearing goggles is a lifesaver, learned the hard way. I wrote a note to will and Eret and put it on the counter,

Be back later, there is food in the fridge, be back before dark if I'm not home by then ill be back before dawn, love you two.

after I wrote the note I went to sir billums palace. shit. it was raining and all I saw was hex running around like a manic without a sweater/jumper, instead, Karl was holding it trying to get her to stop. "YOU'RE GOING TO CATCH A COLD HEX!!" Karl yelled

"AND???" Hex said, her tongue was out now and she was acting like she was catching snowflakes but with rain.

"HEX!" I yelled. "PUT A JACKET ON!!!" I was concerned, she was only wearing a dress shirt with the top part laced up but untied.
