Disclaimer: This is not really an OC. I'm writing what I'm given about the pyro archon and i'm making up the characters personality and story and my own image of her. You can think of this as a self-insert OC but I'm just saying that I don't own the character and it all belongs to the company mihoyo. I wanted to write a Diluc love story without the Oc being someones sister and I find that way too common (no offense to those authors) I'm a Diluc main on genshin impact so I will do my best to write him well. Thank you for your time :)

When a falling stars flame dies. No one tries to help it even though they were falling for quite some time. How can one bring that flame back once it already hit the ground?  Well it just needs to be risen up like the dawn and soar once more across the sky.

The Muratan people were intimidating to say the least. They never took too kindly to strangers and always stuck close like a pack of wolves with scarlet manes. They were a tribe of warriors indeed with there weapons and armor and war-like exteriors.
But the origin of this tribe was said to be children of the Pyro Archon Murata.
To no suprise the tribes people were much like Murata herself. Prideful, Headstrong, Fearless, and Valiant. If there was a band of fatui at their gate there was no debate as to who would come out on top, and rumor has it that they would keep and torture some and let them go so they could tell others to pick their battles wisely around them.
Their individual strength is the tribes strength

Natlan is the nation in which they live that worships the pyro archon , they look up to their god and raise themselves to be the best at what they do and take pride in it. Everyone has a proffesion or hobby they take part in but for the people of Natlan it's not that simple. When they do something they do it with an umeasurable passion that nobody can compare to.

They are a competetive group as well, constantly taking part in tournaments which is common around there. The streets are filled with roars of cheering for some competition being brought. You can only imagine how the pubs are.  It's no suprise that you would find two men wrestling over the bet that the one who loses would buy the other a drink.

For the archon herself, that's probably the most likely place you would find her.  Although the people don't know of her walking amongst them, she definitly doesn't mind drawing attention to herself when a drinking bet is on. She is not only a legend as an Archon but also when it comes to consuming hard liquor.

"Ayoooo Batcher I'mma need 5 more shots of that" Murata ordered with a devilish grin.
The bartender sighed but he was used to it, over the years he made her so many drinks and he has never seen her have a limit. Batcher the bartender was a man with brown shaggy hair and a build of a wrestler in his middle ages. He poured her 5 glasses and slid them over to her. "You come here almost everyday and you have ordered every drink on the menu. Don't you think it's time to take up a new hobby, one more healthy perhaps." Murata narrowed her at looks up at an angel so he can see her annoyance.  "Don't start with me Batch I probably pay 90% of your rent so shush"  she shook her head sassily. Batcher couldn't deny it even though it was crazy how much she spent on drinks within a day.
"You know what hobby she could do? Me" An obnoxious voice came from the bar stool one chair away from hers. It was a tall blonde haired guy wearing an adventurers guild uniform which in her opinion looked like what an elf would wear if they were a girl scout. He winked at her and smiled to himself acting like he made a cool impression.
Murata flat out rejected him by giving him her signature glare.
He slid over to the next chair to get closer to her. "Come on babe, instead of drinking your lonliness away why don't you come out for a fun night at my place and we can talk about my adventures and accomplishments" He leaned over to her to the point wear his shoulders touched hers.
Murata took her shot and when she set the cup down it was over for him.
"Do you mean the accomplishment of having the smallest dick? or the adventure of trying to get that wine bottle out of your ass because that's what is gonna be shoved up there if you don't back the hell away." She said with clear aggression in her words.
Fortunately the man backed away with both hands up defensively.
The bartender chuckled at the scene "I sometimes wonder if you're ever gonna get married and settle down. Haha I'd pay to see that." He laughed as he was cleaning leftover cups.
"I don't need to i'm already married to myself, i'm perfect." her confidence was clear in her posture.

Batcher sighed "I worry about you sometimes Himeko"
Murata tells people to call her Himeko to be discreet about her identity of being the archon.
"I can take care of myself, just worry about restocking because i'm gonna run you dry"
Murata smiled to herself while looking down at her last glass with a solem gaze.

She got up slowly and put on her black hood. "I'm gonna head out for the night. I'll see you tomorow Batch."

"Take care Himeko" Batch waved with his dish towel . He couldn't help but be concerned for her and her wellbeing, even though shes a regular customer he also caught her looking a little lonely and distraught at times.  He thinks of her almost like an alchoholic daughter that has some conflict in her heart she needs to overcome.

Murata shut the door of the pub and walked toward the town center where the statue of the seven stood, the statue was a women in armor standing tall with both hands on the hilt of a sword standing straight. She looked up at the statue of herself and looked down solemly.

She would spend most of her days in Natlan doing bounties and drinking but it seemed to become repetetive and less amusing over time. For someone who lives forever it gets old very easily. She missed her glory days of leading people into battle and the adrenaline she got from it and everyone praising her.  The only sense of glory she gets now are from foolish combat tournaments and it wasn't the same. It's not like she was gonna start a war for the hell of it though. She values her people and their wellbeing. Even though she's known to be a more reckless and feirce god she does have intellect.
She took a seat at the statues foot and looked up at the stars and she thought back on what Batcher said about marriage which made an ache in her chest.

Many wonder if gods can fall in love, well this one certainly did a long time ago. Once upon a time the  God Murata once became enamored with a knight...
