chapter 3: stay with me

Julies pov

I cry out as I feel a searing pain in my arm, I can feel my eyes dart around trying to see anything or anybody, my other hand grabs the wounded arm and I apply pressure to stop the bleeding, I freeze as I feel warm breaths on my neck and shoulder, and in the most chilling voice I hear it say,
"found you darling~" then I'm shaken awake by my dad, his frantic crys are all I hear,
"JULIE!, JULIE! ARE YOU ALRIGHT!?", I shake and feel warm tears fall, I sit up and my father pulls me into a tight hug, I hug back and sob into his shoulder as he shooshes me and pets my head slowly, I jump as I hear the front door get banged on, my father leaves to answer it, I rub the tears out of my eyes and calm my breathing, my door practically gets busted open,
"JULIE!?", I look to were the voice came from, I was quickly engulfed in a tight hug, I stiffen not knowing who this is but I get the slight smell of cinnamon then I relized who it is, 'Alastor?', 'he came to see me?', I hug him back and scoot closer to him, he pulls away and gently wipes away stray tears,"Al?, what are you doing her?", he breaths deeply before answering,"Your mother called me, she said she heard you screaming and you wouldn't wake up, so I came as fast as I could.", I tear up again,'he was worried about me?',"y-you were worried about m-me?", he chuckles and holds me closer,
"Yes darling, I was.", I hear someone clear there throats out,
"Thank you for coming at such a late hour, I'm sorry we wakes you we were just worried.", I feel Alastor turn his head a bit,
"Nonsense!, I was up anyway, I don't attend to sleep for a bit anyway, anyway this is a wonderful excuse to see Julie again, even if its just for 20 minutes!", I blush a bit at his words, I feel my eyes move around looking straight up,
"You can come by anytime, these doors are always open for you, and I'm sure Julie would love the company.", I look down? And I feel my cheeks go hot as I hold Alastor closer, he kisses my forehead and stands up,
"Thank you kind sir, but I believe I should take my leave now, ill come by in the morning to see how she's doing.", I hear Alastor move away, I think fast and grab his hand before he left, he stops and I feel him turn around,
"Stay with me.", I said in almost a whisper, I hear him sigh and climbed back in bed with me, I hear my dad leave with a quiet 'goodnight'. I feel Alastors warm breath on my neck and his arms protectively wrapped around my waist, and before I new it I was out with the shallow breathing of alastors and mine breathing, and his warm body.

*******the next morning*******

Alastors pov

I wake up not knowing were I was, at first I panic til I feel something shift beside me, I look down and my gaze sofens, 'julie', I remember everything that happened and hold her closer,
'she sure did give me a fright', she shifts a little until opening her eyes, 'so pale, but beautiful', her breathing quickens not know who else is with her, I gently stroke her head,"its fine darling, its just me, don't worry." She calms down and snuggles closer to me, 'shes so precious', I smile, our moment is interrupted when there's a knock at the door,"Julie?, its mother.", she opens the door seeing we're both up, she smiles,"well aren't you two just cute~", she coos as I feel my face flush,"moooom~", I hear Julie whine, I chuckle as I get up,
"Ill leave you and head out its almost time for work." Julies mother goes to say something but get interrupted by Julie,
"Will you stay for coffee?" I smile,"well I can't say no to that!" She practically beams, I chuckle and head to the kitchen to poor me a cup, as I reach it I see Julies father,"ah, good morning Alastor!" I smile and nod my head in acknowledgement,
"Good morning to you to good sir!" He smiles and popes me a cup of coffee and hands it to me,"thank you good sir!" He nods as he poors his own cup, he looks at me as I sip my coffee,"if you want I have clothes that might fit you?" I raise a brow,"why would I need clothes?" He chuckles,"unless you wanna go to work in your PJs?" I look down and chuckle,"oh my, I guess I have no choice huh?" He shakes his head and sets down his cut of coffee,"no you don't, now, follow me chap!" I chuckle as I hear the nickname, I follow him to a room with truncks everywhere, he goes up to a red one and opens it, "here we are." He pulls out brown dress pants, brown vest, white button up shirt, a black bowtie, and black dress shoes, he holds them out to me,"well go try them on?" He chuckles, I grab them and go to the bathroom to change. After changing I walk out, Julie and her mother where in there sitting and eating, her father looks up and smiles,
"It fit well?" I nod and smile,"it does ill wash it before returning it to you." He just shakes his head and smiles softly,"keep it." I look at him unsure,"oh I couldn't possibly." He chuckles,"no its fine go ahead, ill never wear it again anyway, consider it a gift from us." He smiles his wife nods and so does Julie,"I'm sure you look dapper!" She smiles I blush and chuckle,"well thank you but I think I should go before I'm late!" They nod as I make my way to the door,"remember the door is always open to you!" I hear Julies mother chirp,"of course!" We say our goodbyes as I make my way to work,' nice people, to bad there's not that many people like that anymore'.
