Hello there, everyone! Welcome back to another Random Chapter! This one is kinda short, it's mostly because I've been hit by another truck of writer's block and on top of that the manga is kinda stuck in a point where I can't really write another chapter, AGAIN! Hopefully the new chapter coming up soon will help us out with that, I can't wait to get back to writing. It makes me feel horrible to make you guys wait this much time for a chapter.

That's about it for today, like I said, shorter chapter today, but with a decent backstory that will play a kinda major role in the future of the story, so it should be altight.

Don't forget to leave your thoughts in the comments! Leave a vote if you liked this chapter to help ya boy out, and I'll see you in the next one! Kisses!

It's been a few days since Kaito joined Endeavor's Hero Agency to sharpen his quirk control, along with his classmates. The Internship and Work Study with Hawks was hard enough when he had to chase the Pro around, him and Tokoyami had to ho through a lot to get where they are right now, masters of the Sky. But training with Endeavor is a whole different story. There are tons of different layers of stuff they have to memorize and put in practice at the same time; Quirk control, speed, output, attention to surroundings, rescue, evacuation and of course, fighting.

Only a few days was enough to make the four interns feel the weight of what's like to chase the top spot, something Endeavor has been doing for years, and has rightfully earned as the second strongest hero other than All Might himself. They had just returned from another day of hero-ing, or better yet, TRYING to do something.

"You guys look horrible!" Observed Burnin', striking another weird pose. "You should grab a snack and get some rest! It's not getting any easier around here!"

"Ugh, I'm beat!" Groaned Kaito, removing his goggles, steam flowing from his body. At this point he couldn't tell if it was from using his quirk or just all the work. "A cup of water wouldn't go wrong right now."

"You guys did such a good job!" Midoriya on the other hand looked excited still, even after a day of training. He pulled out his old notebook where he makes quirk annotations. "Atsuhito! You have to teach us your tricks! You're so fast!"

"Alright, slow down, Broccoli-Boy. I already told you I'm not doing it because it's my only advantage over you all. Hawks always says 'speed beats power'."

"Speed over power?" Todoroki looked over, interested in the matter. "You're having no problem competing with my old man. I wish I could get something near your level of speed. Maybe I'll get some of these gauntlets of yours."

"Another one? C'mon, Bakugo copying my support items is enough."

"Shut up, damn Steam-Punk! I'm not copying you! You're the one copying me!"

"Whatever, man...anyway. My gauntlets do increase my speed, but that's all on my quirk!" Kaito said proudly. "Like All Might said, 'lean on your support items too much and you will be useless when you don't have them.' It's not my fault these babies are so high quality!"

"I'm pretty sure you're useless either way." Hissed Bakugo.

"Kacchan..."

"Shut up, Deku!"

"It's alright, Midoriya. I'll handle this. This idiot thinks he can win if he were to fight against me. Poor thing."

"You what?!" Bakugo jumped away, using his quirk to make mini explosions. "YOU WANNA FIGHT, STEAM-PUNK!" And as he created the explosions, suddenly, his grenadier bracers started smoking and malfunction, letting out sparks and smoke.

"So, as I was saying about high quality." Kaito smirked.

"WHAT!? THIS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE!" The pomeranian was confused.

"Maybe you pushed it too far?" Midoriya theorized.

"Didn't you say once that these things were the same since the start of the year?" Todoroki questioned.

"Since the start of the year?" Now Kaito was surprised. "You never asked for an upgrade or, or... update on these things?"

"If it ain't broke don't fix it!"

"Well, it's broke now moron!"

"Whatever! I'll just ask for repairs! The goggles girl can repair them!"

"You do know we're in the middle of a Work Study and staying here at Endeavor's agency, right? You CAN'T ask for repairs right now!"

"Atsuhito, you could repair the-" Midoriya was about to chime in, when Bakugo yelled explosively.

"HELL NO! Stay away from my items, Steam-Punk! It shouldn't be hard!" And Bakugo stomped away.

"...or you'll blow up the building." Said Todoroki. "I don't think he's qualified to repair those."

"You think?!"

Kaito shook his head in amusement as the three watched Bakugo march away with his damaged item. Midoriya, Todoroki and Atsuhito then headed to the cafeteria to grab a quick launch before calling it a day. After a change of clothes to something, well, normal, and not a hero costume, Kaito found Bakugo again walking through the hall, carrying his damaged item and a toolbox, along with the item manual.

"You sure you don't want my help?"

"Piss off, Steam-Punk! I don't need you for anything!"

Kaito then shrugged, and headed outside, stargazing, as always. It didn't take much for his peaceful night be interrupted by a yelling pomeranian. He sighed, and headed downstairs again.

Bakugo was at the training grounds, trying to repair the damaged item, to no avail of course, he's a dumbass.

"I told you I don't need your help!" Yelled Bakugo as he saw the Steamguy approaching.

"I know you don't. But I'll help you anyways." Kaito snatched the item from his hands. "Gimme dat!"

"Hey!"

"Shut up for a second..." Kaito looked around the bracers. "It's not exactly the same as my gauntlets, but I can fix it."

"Why are you-?"

"Pain we endure, faulty equipment we do not. A damaged support item will not only slow you down, but it can also endanger you, or the people we protect."

Surprisingly, the pomeranian was quiet from hearing such wisdom.

"Hmm, ah! I see it! You damaged from constantly using your quirk all day, it's wearing out, you see?" He showed Bakugo the damaged insides of the bracers.

"I can see that! I'm not stupid!"

"I can make it work, but you'll have to ask Hatsume for some upgrades when we get back. Well, I know you will not, so I'll do it."

As Kaito repaired the bracers, Bakugo was mostly silent, still he had a few questions of his own.

"Why did you learn all that?" He asked.

"Hm?"

"Support items and such. I know your dad works with stuff like that, but... you made your gauntlets yourself."

"Hmm.." Kaito pondered for a second. "I think it's just that. My father works at a support company, so I learned from him I guess. But... if we're talking about my gauntlets, it's a whole different story."

"What do you mean?"

"I didn't build my gauntlets for me..."

"What?"

"I built them for Midoriya."

"Deku?!"

"Yeah... the idea came when I was little." Kaito recalled his childhood, learning the basics of support items from his father. "He was quirkless... so I thought; 'Wouldn't it be cool if he could experience how it's like to have a quirk of his own?'. So I made the gauntlets to kind of... simulate my quirk. I hoped it could become something more, but I'm really not THAT good." He shyly rubbed his cheek. "So... it ended up being part of my own quirk."

"That's stupid! Who would think of that!?"

"Me. I did."

"Whatever, are you done?!"

"Yeah. It should be working fine now." Kaito hands back the bracers.

Bakugo tried using his quirk again, and this time it worked just fine.

"You're not so useless after all! Maybe you could work as a sidekick in my agency when we become pros!"

"Huh... jerk."
