Chapter 11

The library was quiet. The air was still. And as Sing ran in he remembered the sight he saw when he had to go and call the ambulance on Ash after he was stabbed.

He would never forget that day. Luckily, Ash had lived. It really was a miracle. The knife was pushed in so far and he lost an enormous amount of blood. But thanks to Sing, Ash had lived to see another day and was able to marry the love of his life Eiji.

Walking further into the library realisation hit Sing. Thea was asleep in Ash's chair.

It felt like it was happening all over again.

But this time Sing swore nobody was going to die. Not Alex not Thea not Yut Lung Not Blanca and not Natasha.
He walked over quietly careful not to startle her. And gently tried to wake her up.

Thea awoke to Sings kind face staring at her.
"You found me" she said before putting her head back down.
"I did." He replied to her "you know everyone was terrified out of their minds. Even Yut Lung"
"I cant face him right now" she said.
"I get it. You was lied to to and you deserve to pissed of. I would be"
"Thanks Sing"
"If you ever need anyone to talk to or vent to we're all here for you. I mean I don't know what you've been through or what you've seen or witnessed but, well all listen"
She looked up from the table and her lip started quivering.

Hot tears fell down her cheeks. It was a devastating scene.
" I've seen my brother die infront of my face Sing. It plays over and over again when I'm asleep."

Sing was shocked. He knew that she had been through shit but not to this extent.
"I've been in a similar situation. My brother stabbed Ash Lynx in this very library and her bled out in that very chair. But before he made it to the library he shot my brother dead"
" I don't hold any resentment for it I mean I was only 14. It just makes me sad that my brother had to die"

"Fuck" was all Thea could manage to say. "That sounds horrible"

"It was and after Ash got well again he went off to Japan to be with the love of his life. And don't get me wrong I was happy for him, he finally deserved that happiness. But I was alone. Honestly Yut Lung was really there for me"
"Sometimes the most unlikely people become the most important in our lives"

" I suppose you're right" she said "thanks Sing it's really good to know that there are people who care about me"

"No problem. But we should probably get back otherwise everyone will be wondering where we are"

So they left the library and headed home.

The roads were quiet. Not many people were about and the silence in the car was deafening.

"When we get back should I talk to him Sing" Thea asked.
"It's completely your decision. It depends on if you want to get it over with tonight or wait till tomorrow because you will have to talk at some point he is your bodyguard after all"

As they walked up to the entrance anticipation was building. It was now 10 pm and it had already been an eventful night.

When the door opened Yut was standing there to greet them he gave Sing a smile as he went to find Blanca before grabbing Thea and giving her a massive hug.

"I'm so glad you're ok" he told her. And Thea finally felt like she found people that care about her.

"Where's Alex I need to speak to him tonight to get it over with"
Yut pointed toward the bedroom in which they were sharing and she headed up there before standing infront of the menacing door, preparing herself to go in.

Slowly the door opened and they both locked eyes with each other.
