Dear Lena,

Today was my day off and instead of working on the nursery. (Which was the plan) I sat down and made a list of potentional names for our little one. I had thought a little about the naming thing already.

Since you are named Lena and I am named Kara I wanted something similar. So something with four letters, and ending with an A but the third letter of the name can't be an R or N because we already have that. This is my list so far.

*As I look back on what I've written this explanation is really complicated, I hope you're still following me.

-Emma
-Ella
-Isla
-Jula
-Nola
-Nova
-Lula
-Lola
-Elva
-Jiva
-Nika
-Zuma

I know it's a big list and I need to make some cuts. I have a perfect second name for the baby. But I'm not going to tell you yet. Because even though I know you can't read this it has to be a surprise. And when you ever hear the second name you will be surprised. I promise.

Also, as I'm reading the list I just decided to cut one name out already. It's the name Emma. I think Emma is a beautiful name but our little one deserves something more special than such a common name.

I'm also now looking up the meanings of the names to (hopefully) make easier desicions.

Meaning 'Ella':
Means she/her in spanish. Or girl / feminine.

Meaning 'Isla':
In spanish: 'Island'.

Meaning 'Jula':
Means 'young' and 'the family of Julii'. (Family of Julii= a buch of dead people that were important in the old greek time. They were involved with politics and stuff.) But it can also mean: dedicated to jupiter (the god of the sky). I think taht's kinda pretty because Krypton was in the 'sky'.

Meaning: 'Nola':
Means in Irish 'white shoulder'. (Lena, Irish! I didn't know that when the name popped up)

Meaning: 'Nova':
Means 'new' and is originally from the latin language.

Meaning: 'Lula':
'Famous warrior' in German. It's a german/english name.

Meaning: 'Lola':
This means 'sorrows' in french.

Meaning: 'Elva':
Means 'white, noble and bright' and it's from origin Irish. (Also irish yay)

Meaning: 'Jiva':
Okay, so I made this name up and aparantly the internet says it's a boys name. But I don't really care. I think I woukd really like it for a girl.

But anyways; it means: 'healthy, alive/living' and it's a Hindu name.

Meaning: 'Nika':
This name comes from a greek god named Nike. But it's also a persian name and it means 'very good' or pure crystal water'.

Meaning: 'Zuma':
I don't really know if I like this name. It means 'peace' in Arabic. But knowing our live we have never peace. So is this name gonna fit in our live Lena? Hmmm... I'll think about it.

My Rao... looking at this list I don't even know where to start. It would be so much easier if you come home. Please? I miss you.

Kara

A/N (Let me know which names you like and don't like because I honestly can't choose. I have some favorites though.)
